The apartment is a two bedroom, two-bathroomed penthouse, which has been furnished to the highest standard and is lovely throughout. It is located in the quiet, residential coastal resort area of Riviera del Sol (next to Miraflores) and is situated on a hillside in a prominent location that gives stunning panoramic views from the sun terrace, lounge and bedrooms, down across the Riviera valley towards the sea. The location is perfect to enjoy a relaxing, beach holiday along one of Spain's best coastlines, or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area, where there's everything you need for a great night out too, with entertainment ranging from traditional flamenco performances to night-clubbing. This is in the heart of Spain’s prime golfing locations and Miraflores Golf course and Club House is just a 5-minute walk away. A short drive inland and you'll discover many delightful mountain villages and there's many restaurants to choose from offering all types of cuisine.
Everything you need is close to hand - local shops and restaurants, beaches, golfing and many places to visit. One of our favourite ways to spend the day and evening is going to the family beach and marina at Cabopino. This is less than a 5-minute drive from the apartment along the coast road towards Marbella.

The Costa del Sol is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations, with over 150 kilometres of coastline in the province of Málaga. The area's mild climate all year round makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities throughout the year.
Mijas Costa / Riviera del Sol area
Riviera del Sol is a popular resort that sits on the coast midway between Marbella and Fuengirola, just a 10 minute drive from each. The pretty port and beach of Cabopino is less than a 5 minute drive east along the coast road. Riviera del Sol has easy access to the new AP 7 motorway and the A7 coast road (formerly the N-340), and so Malaga airport is only 25 minutes away. The resort runs down to the beach and is adjacent to Calahonda. It is a mixed residential and holiday area and has every facility and service needed for your holiday; restaurants, shops, banks, supermarket, chemist and a health centre are all to hand.
Riviera del Sol has its own golf course, golf school tennis club, lawn bowls and leisure centres. Many world renowned golf courses, other sports facilities, splash parks, zoo, Marbella etc... are within a 10 minutes drive.
How to get there
- Many budget airlines fly from the UK to Malaga. Try www.skyscanner.net to list and compare airlines. - Riviera is just a 20mins drive from Malaga Airport. - Try www.carjet.com or www.easycar.com for cheap hire cars. Expect around £9 per day for a weeks hire of a small car. - Local buses run every 15minutes each way along the main coast road. - Local taxis always available. It costs around 45-50 euros for a taxi taking you from the airport to our apartment. - Full directions will be provided upon booking.

Further details indoors: The apartment has Air Conditioning (hot and cold) and has marble floors throughout. The through living and dining room area has a sliding patio door that leads out onto the large, private sun terrace. There is a leather 2½ seated couch with a matching 3 seated bed/settee.
The kitchen is fitted with all new appliances and is well equipped with all you need to make your holiday a home from home. There is also an iron, ironing board and maiden should you need them. Both bedrooms enjoy the fabulous view. The master bedroom has a second sliding patio door leading onto the sun terrace and has it's own inner hallway with en suite bathroom. The second twin bedroom has a window overlooking the sun terrace.
The apartment's large, private sun terrace has furniture comprising of a large patio table and chairs for up to 6 people along with a large parasol. An electric BBQ grill and stand is provided for use on the terrace and there is ample room for sunbathing and dining, which is particularly relaxing in the evening with outside lighting. The south-facing terrace is located at the front of the apartment and gives views of the pools and gardens below and across the Riviera valley to the sea (approx ¾ mile away).
Further details outdoors: It is a secure, private complex with key coded access. There are 2 swimming pools and a 'paddle' tennis court (Small tennis court). Grassed areas and palm trees around the pools make it ideal for sunbathing. There's access to a secure garage underneath and the apartment has a lift available that takes you to all 5 floors.
The complex is situated in beautifully maintained tropical gardens with paved walkways, night lighting and a waterfall feature.

Conditions
A Security Deposit of £100 is required to cover any unreasonable breakages or damage to the property. This will be refunded once the apartment keys have been returned to us. The security deposit is a way of ensuring that the apartment maintains it's high standard for all future guests.

"We had a lovely week in your apartment and are a bit sad that it had to end a little too soon. The apartment was super and very comfortable with lovely views and everything you could possibly need and very reasonably priced. The weather was mainly sunny with blue skies and reasonable temperatures but we did have some rain for a couple of days in the middle of the week. It didn't stop us getting about and we paid several visits to Marbella and Puerto Banus. We also visited Gibraltar, Benalmadena and spent New Years Eve in Fuengorola (please excuse spellings). The guys played golf at Cabopino Golf Club.This is a stunning course just a few miles from the apartment. It is at the cheaper end of the price ranges in the area (170 euros for 2 to play including buggy and 2 sets of clubs) and it wasn't busy." Karl Williams, January 2008
