About the home

This is an ideal 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom first floor apartment that is located in a gated community with a lovely pool area and also has a children´s pool and a kiddie play area. The property is well furnished, has A/C hot and cold, free to view channels, has a spacious south west facing terrace that gets sun all day with pool and sea views and is walking distance to the village of La Cala de Mijas.

The twin bedroom has a shower room and the Master has a double bed and leads out onto the terrace with an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully fitted with a washing machine and dish washer.

Ideal property to rent as has everything you would need to enjoy a great holiday!

Facilities

The property is located on the first floor and there is a lift that takes you from the underground car park level to the floor of the property. The complex is gated and is walking distance to all amenities. Within minutes walk you have local restaurants, bars, supermarkets, local transport , the beach, the local Spanish markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays and the village of La Cala de Mijas.

The kitchen is spacious and has a table in the room but you would usually eat your breakfast on the terrace! There is an oven with a hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

The Master bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite with a bath with shower screen. The second bedroom has two single beds and the bathroom has a shower.

The lounge and dining area lead out onto a large south west facing terrace that has pool views and some sea views. You have free to view BBC channels and A/C hot and cold in all rooms.

There is a pool for the adults plus a kiddie pool.

Just a great property to enjoy a wonderful summer holiday!

The property will be clean when you arrive and will be cleaned after you depart (included in the price).

Check in time is 4pm and Check out time is 10am, where possible we will try and accommodate earlier check in times and later check out times, however this cannot be guaranteed.

Rates are inclusive of bed linen and towels (including beach towels).

The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, glasses, crockery and cookware.

For an extra charge, maid service can be provided to suit you either daily or weekly etc.

The Mijas Costa / La Cala de Mijas area

Located on the Costa del Sol the village of La Cala de Mijas is a short drive to Marbella and Fuengirola and is about 25 minutes drive to Malaga airport. La Cala as known by the locals is a very popular location with residents and tourists as it still has the charm of a small fishing village!! La Cala is open throughout the whole year and has a variety of things to offer from shops to supermarkets to expensive restaurants.

The local markets are in the village on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting around 10am - 2pm.

You are sure to enjoy the many bars and restaurants ranging from the most simple to the very classy such as Chinese, Thai, Italian, Indian, English, chiringuitos on the beach and Spanish. You have the choice!

You are surrounded by golf courses and there are several very close by such as Noria, El Chapparal, La Cala Resort, Santana and Miraflores to mention just a few. You do not have to be a member to play these courses and if you need more information regarding golf please do ask us.

For the kids (and adults) there is plenty to do whether it be going to a water park in Fuengirola (10 minutes drive), the zoo in Fuengirola, 10 pin bowling in La Cañada shopping centre in Marbella (15 minutes drive), Tivoli World in Arroyo de la Miel (20 minutes drive), Sea Life in Benalmadena (25 minute drive) or just heading down to the sandy beaches!

There are various 'Fiestas' throughout the year.

Puerto Banus is where the famous and rich will be seen with their luxury yachts and expensive cars. It will take you less than 25 minutes to drive there. Once you are there there are restaurants, bars, exclusive boutiques, El Corte Ingles and it is worth a visit! If your're looking for night life then this is the place to go however you can also go the other way along the coast to Fuengirola.

We had a wonderful time. The apartment was perfect we could of not asked for more. It is ideally situated from the beach and the town of La Cala.
The apartment was very clean and tidy 'home from home'.
I have added Property Options to my favourites.
Hopefully we will be back next year.

The Cala Azul property was superb. The accommodation was well equipped, beautifully furnished and very comfortable - we were delighted that towels (including beach towels) were provided. Loved the big terrace as we were able to sit and relax on it and catch a few sun rays on the loungers provided. The table and chairs also meant we could sit and eat outside and enjoy the surroundngs of the complex. The pool was super and came as a great ecsape from the heat. It was never overly busy which suited us and the kids down to the ground (nice and private). The gardens and pool were exceptionally clean and tidy.
Definitely hope to be back next year.
