Home description

• Jardines del Tenis is situated just outside the grounds of the Lew Hoad tennis club, 10 minutes from the picturesque mountainside white village of Mijas Pueblo, and 10 minutes from the typically Spanish seaside resort of Fuengirola. It's an ideal base for exploring the Costa del Sol being within easy reach of many places of interest such as Marbella, Puerto Banus, Ronda, Granada, or even Gibraltar for some tax-free shopping.

• The house has a large lounge dining room with patio doors leading to a patio area providing a sun trap where it is possible to eat al fresco most of the year. With air-conditioning and gas central heating the house is ideal for holidays or weekend breaks any time of the year.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The Costa Del Sol, "The Sun Coast" is the most most visited part of the Andalucian Coastline with its warm climate (average of over 300 sunny days a year) is an ideal holiday desitnation anytime of year. Whether you are looking for a relaxing or more active holiday, the Costa del Sol has something for everyone. It has long sandy beaches, restaurants to suit every taste, a lively nightlife and pretty white mountainside villages. It includes:
- Marbella, a favourite resort of the rich and famous, with its " La Plaza de los Narangos" (orange square)

Jardines del Tennis is very conveniently situated at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas, just ten minutes away from the pretty white village of Mijas Pueblo, one of the most photographed white village on the Costa del Sol with its great views down to the coast and 10 minutes drive to Spanish seaside resort of Fuengirola with its long sandy beaches, excellent shopping and lively nightlife.

Jardines del Tenis is a pretty little development of terracota houses with their own private gardens and a shared pool , nestling below the beautifully landscaped gardens of the Lew Hoad Tennis Club, often described as the most beautiful tennis club in Spain. Tennis players can hire a court, or for approx €12 join in the well organised tournaments or mix-ins followed by a sociable drink and local tapas. If you are feeling less energetic stroll up to the club and enjoy a relaxing drink or meal in the club restaurant overlooking the courts. The club also has a beauty salon, gym and organises yoga and pilates classes.

• Arrangements can also be made for our managers to collect you from the airport.

• Alternatively you can take the regular train service from the airport to Fuengirola and then take a bus or taxi up to the house

Conditions

Terms
1. The house is let on a self-catering basis.
2. All lets are from 3 p.m. on the day of your arrival to 10 a.m. on the day of your departure. Please vacate the house by 10.00 am.
3. Bedlinen, towels and tea towels and cleaning materials are provided, together with complimentary starter toilet rolls, dish cloths and bin liners.
4. All prices include electricity, water and gas, and the service of a house maid on the last morning of your stay to clean the accommodation and change the linen and towels.
Conditions
1. The owners, their employees, agents or contractors shall not be liable for any death or injury, loss or damage to person or property sustained by any person arising from or in connection with any letting, whether or not directly or indirectly caused by the act, default, negligence or omission or otherwise of the owners, their employees, agents or invitees. The tenants shall indemnify the owners against all actions, liability, claims, costs and expenses arising from or in connection with their letting.
2. Children must be supervised around and in the pool at all times.
Payment
A 25% deposit is payable on booking and the balance together with a refundable damages deposit (separate cheque for £200), is due 6 weeks prior to the start of your holidays.

Cancellation of a booking renders you liable, at the owners discretion, to loss of the rent if no later booking for the same period is made. You are advised to arrange your own insurance to cover against unavoidable cancellation, losses, medical expenses or injury to person or property during the holiday.

Just wanted to let you know how much we are looking forward to our holiday at your home in Spain. This will be our 3rd visit, and we have never been disappointed - close to the little shops and restaurants in Mijas, and a very short drive to the beach and other amenities at Fuengirola. And even with a large family, the house is so peaceful, relaxing and safe. There is still so much to see and do, I'm sure this won't be our last time!
