Apartment | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 2
Our second holiday home is a barn conversion called Abbot's Flight accessed via the traditional barn steps on the outside of the building. Abbot's Flight is so named because of the legend of a tunnel that connected Lowfield Farm to a nearby monastery, oppressed Monks apparently took flight to the farm via the tunnel.
With stunning views Abbot's flight features on one level a living, dining kitchen area, hall way, shower room and well appointed bedroom with romantic four posted bed and built in wardrobes. Again its fully centrally heated.
Both Curlew Cottage and Abbot's Flight have their own private garden including patio areas, and parking areas out of the sight of the main farm house.
The stunning views from the windows are of many miles of the National Park. You can view more images of the apartment on Pinterest or by following us on Facebook.
There is extensive secure private parking, a cycle store and boot washing facilities. The cottage contains a
TV, DVD player, range of books, games and dvd's. Numerous footpaths lead from the farm with many
beautiful circular walks. We are situated close to the visitor attractions of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Heights of Abraham, Bakewell, Matlock Bath, Ashbourne and Buxton. The cottage is an ideal base for walkers and ramblers.
Outdoor pursuits, bird watching, fishing, history lovers or for just totally relaxing. Many of the pubs have
A full range of locally brewed beers.

Thank you for taking the trouble to write a review for us. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
As you know, we are the new owners of Lowfields farm, in fact we had the property from the 4th of October and it has been hard work, as we have lots of plans to upgrade the cottages and the farm house.
We would be delighted to welcome you back soon.

My husband did take me to your favourite pub for a curry, it was lovely, a traditional pub with a blazing fire and good food.
