The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region

Miami Playa / Playa Cristal area
Miami Playa is a small commercial Spanish town with a main street (N340) running through the centre of it and a number of side streets. In Miami, you will find bars (again mainly Spanish), restaurants, pizza, ice cream parlours and commercial shops ranging from supermarkets (InterMarché and a number of others) through to furnishing and hardware stores. Five minutes by car from our house will take you to Playa Crystal. Playa Crystal has a three-mile beach of soft sand which gently slopes into the sea. As with all the beaches in the area you will notice that they are always kept immaculately clean and this is evident in Playa Crystal. Hospitalet has a small marina with a number of bars and restaurants. Ten minutes drive in the other direction will take you to Cambrils. Cambrils has a fantastic beach with a large marina and lots of bars restaurants and shops and in the height of the season, there is always entertainment for the Spanish community and tourists alike.
