About the home

Set in the beautiful Sierra Llaberia mountains the villa commands an elevated position with the most spectacular views of sea and mountains - with your own private terrace and pool just outside your bedroom door.

It is only a short walk to the gym, tennis courts, horse riding stables (a moonlight ride down to the beach comes highly recommended), boules court, children's play area ,community pool & gardens, bars & restaurants - and being in the mountains it is in an ideal location for keen hikers and bikers too.

Only a short drive to Port Aventura theme & water park, Bonmont Golf, fishing on the Ebro river & sailing.
Day trip to Barcelona via the train from Hospitalet De L'Infante (3mins from villa) to the city centre (Gracia/Las Ramblas) approx 1.5 hr journey .

It's an ideal location for relaxing in a lounger without being overlooked on your very own private terrace, taking in the most beautiful scenery and fresh air - with maybe a glass of the wonderful local wine & even perhaps taking the odd refreshing dip in the pool.

The early risers will enjoy the most beautiful of sunrises – ideal for that romantic moment or just to have some time to yourself in the early morning before the kids wake up - and watching the sunsets on the terrace with a cocktail is just glorious.

The luxury apartments within the villa can accommodate 4 people and all rooms lead directly onto the 19 metre terrace, one with private pool. All rooms within upper apartment are served by a separate bathrooms. One room with en-suite shower room & WC & in addition another separate W.C with basin.
The kitchen as you would expect is fully equipped with fridge/freezer,washer, microwave, ceramic hob & oven, iron, etc.

Al - Fresco Dining & Pool

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region

As its name suggests the Costa Dorada (golden coast) has many beautiful golden sand beaches which remain even at the height of the summer season largly uncrowded. Unlike the more southern Costas the Costa Dorada has glorious sunshine but doesn't become so unbearably hot in the summer months so makes for an enjoyable & relaxing summer destination.

The nearby towns of Tarragona and Reus retain their old world charm and are great for exploring and have an abundance of great restaurants and al fresco cafes.

Only a 5 minute drive from the villa are some of the most beautiful golden sand beaches and the local town of Hospitalet de L'Infante which has a small yacht marina where you can watch the world go by at one of the many bars or seafood restaurants.

For the more sporting - orientated it is only 4 minutes to the 18 hole Bonmont Golf course.
A half hour drive and you could be fishing or canoeing on the Ebro river, or bird watching flamingos, among the many other species, on the Ebro Delta ..... or just partaking of the Delta’s famously delicious fresh seafood and paella.

The Miami Playa area

There is so much to do in the immediate area- from cycling, walking and hiking to mountaineering and rock climbing. Guides and instruction are easily available .
Bicycle,moped,quad bikes and tri-bikes are also all available for hire locally.

Archaeological sites round the area abound from the ancient Iberian and Roman times.
Fishing and canoeing can be found on the river Ebro and the Delta region affords fine bird watching .

Golf is available very close by on the Robert Trent -Jones Jnr designed 18 hole course at Bonmont Golf Terra Noves . Also pitch and putt at La Figuerola in Vandellos is a short drive of around 20 minutes.

Horse riding abounds with many wonderful trails and moonlight treks down to the beach from our local stables just around the corner from the villa at El Rancho de Las Rocas

Port Aventura theme and water park at Universal Studios is around 20 minutes away for those without fear!

The coast obviously has a lot to offer with regard to cuisine and some of the finest dining out can be had in the area with the huge variety of both sea food and mountain recipes .

Also of course there are those beautiful sand beaches and beach sports. The larger sailing and motor boats can also be chartered from the port of Cambrils, a lovely lively town which the high- rises fortunately seem to have missed.

For the youngsters or brave and young at heart take a trip to Port Aventura theme park 20 minutes away or sample the bars, restaurants and nightlife in Salou.
Should a trip to a big city be the order of the day, Barcelona is about an hour away by car or there’s an excellent local train service which takes you right into the centre in around an hour and a half.
However should you want somewhere a bit closer to home Tarragona, with it’s great shopping, Roman archaeological sites and beautiful old town full of bustling squares lined with restaurants and cafes is around a 20 minute drive away and well worth a visit as is indeed the lovely old town of Reus.

And the list goes on ....................... there really is something for everyone !

Reus Airport is the nearest airport and is around a 25 minute drive from the villa.
Car hire is available from Hertz & Europcar & Solmar have been recommended

There are very reasonably priced flights every day all year round with Ryan Air from many UK airports , and in the summer months there are charter flights with : Thomascook, Thomson and First Choice .

EasyJet, Jet 2 and other charter and scheduled flights to Barcelona which is about a 1hr drive or 1.5 hr train journey.
Free parking, local car hire & taxis available at the local train station approx 5mins from the villa

We had a lovely time, your villa is amazing, you have pretty much thought of everything, even down to the small things...... We were very impressed by the levels of cleanliness and the excellent facilities...........The area was very peaceful... a great location if all you want to do is just unwind.......from us all I'd just like to say thank you, we had a fantastic time and Casa Suala and the pool just made things really special. It's a shame we couldn't stop longer, we want to come back already.

We very much enjoyed our week at your villa. What stunning views. We really didn't want to leave...........
We are not a family to stay on the beaten track so this really was ideal. We had the best of both, being able to explore the mountain area and the beach coves nearby.

The villa was lovely! The terrace was lovely with fantastic views and the pool was a welcome relief on the hot days. It was lovely and clean and very well equipped. The area was peaceful, quiet and private. The local beaches were clean and not too crowded.
We would recommend the train from the local town to Barcelona as it was so easy and very reasonably priced. We also visited the Portaventura theme park for the day which was very enjoyable and the evening fireworks and water display were just spectacular.

We loved your villa. It was just perfect for a relaxing break; especially with the stunning views from the balcony. Having the pool situated overlooking the mountains and the valley brought it into a very special category. The vista constantly changes - some mornings we woke to find the mountains shrouded in mist others bright sunshine flooded the valley. In the evenings, we sat on the huge veranda with the little village perched on the other mountains twinkling its existence while we drank wine, ate nuts and generally chilled out.
We arrived to find the villa spotless, modern, and was just the right size for the four of us.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Suala. The villa was a perfect base to
both explore and relax (especially the views - they did not
disappoint!). The area around was lovely and everything we needed was
close by. The first few days were very hot and the pool was brilliant.
I would definitely recommend to anyone to avail of your villa should they be looking for a weeks break!

The villa is beautiful and we enjoyed many hours relaxing on the balcony overlooking the surrounding area before venturing out to discover another beach,restaurant or bar.. The buffet restaurant was very good as you had said but I would also recommend the restaurant at the tennis club. The BBQ of an evening with some good local wine and the splendid views was wonderful.
