Villa Bertha is located just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach, the restaurants and shops, on the outskirts of the town often referred to as one of Spain’s best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the larger resorts such as Salou, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The villa benefits from its own Private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children and there is a partial sea view. Leading from the living room is a nice covered balcony with lovely views to the pool, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With two double and two twin bedroom where one is one of the tower, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
Barcelona is 1hr 30min by car on the motorway (AP7). Famous for its Gaudi architecture, Picasso museum, FC Barcelona stadium, and shopping (including Las Ramblas – the main shopping area leading to the harbour).
The Roman town of Tarragona is 30 minutes away with its impressive amphitheatre and multi-lingual miniature train tour, which the kids love.
The local train provides day-trips north to Port Aventura the Universal Studios theme park, Costa Caribe Water Park, Salou (Tarragona) and Barcelona. To the South, the train will take you to the historic town of Tortosa on the Ebro River, with its mountainous backdrop and historic castle on the hill where you can take tea or eat in the restaurant. Valencia is also a possible day-trip destination further South.

Historic sites such as the Augustus palace inTarragona, the roman aqueducts and the roman triumphal arch, the cathedral, the bishop palace (built 1316 A.C.) in Tortosa at the Ebro river, the old monasteries Poblet and Santes Creus and many more want to be visited and discovered.
