About the home

Casa Bella provides the great family get away. The villa enjoys a large outdoor pool and spacious patio area for BBQ and outdoor fun. Private balcony to relax over a peaceful glass of wine.

Just 20 mins to Port Aventura, which has recently been extended to include the popular water park. Salou and Cambrils 12 km away for nightlife, tourist beaches and plenty of shopping opportunities.

Lovely local beaches attract those wanted to get away from the busy resorts. For those who enjoy local restaurants and traditional cuisine, Miami Platja offers a good standard at a reasonal price. Many offer "menu of the day" which often includes wine.

Located just 5 mins drive to Bonmont Golf club and close to a further 2 golf clubs, Casa Bella provides a great base for enthusiastic golfers and also offers plenty in area to enjoy for golf widows!!!

Why not take a day trip to Barcelona and enjoy the culture and buzz of this vibrant city? Great local train links make such a day out easy and stress free.

Further details outdoors:
The villa has a good sized garden, completely paved in local stone. It has well established hedges which give complete privacy for sunbathing. At the end of the garden there is a secure private access to large shared pool with surrounding sunbathing lawns, including outdoor shower area. Although shared the pool is rarely busy with only 20 villas surrounding it. There is also access to second smaller pool which may be preferable for smaller children.

As well as sun loungers, chairs, patio table and umbrella the garden has recently been upgraded with free standing feature BBQ, ideal for outside entertaining. There is an out door washing line.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region

Miami platja is within easy reach of the popular resorts of Salou and Cambrils as well as the bustling cities of Reus , Tarragona and Barcelona. Cambrils has grown from a picturesque fishing village and marina to a popular up market resort. Salou is perhaps the best known resort on the Costa with a large selection of bars, restaurants and clubs taylored to every member of the family. Reus is a vibrant modern city with excellent shopping. The Roman city of Tarragona also has extensive historical interest. Barcelona the capital of Catalunya is highly recommended to visit.

The Miami Playa / Casalot area

Casalot is an urbanisation surrounded by countryside and green belt forest and is situated just 3km from the beautiful sandy beach and the centre of the resort of Miami Platja. There is a restaurant / bar most of the year, public phone, within walking distance from the house. In the summer months there is also a large public swimming pool with bar called Via Marina on the main road to Miami Platja.
There are a choice of shops & supermarkets less than 2.5km away together with a wide selection of restaurants. The development has a regular bus service to the resort centre and onward to the other nearby resorts and cities.
Casalot has its own exit from brand new A7 road which now gives quick & easy access to nearby resorts of Salou & Cambrils, as well as further afield to Reus, Taragona & Barcelona.
Casa Bella is only 1.5km from the prestigious Bonmont Terres Noves Golf club. There are 3 clubs within a 20km radius. Horse riding is also available from a nearby ranch. Port Aventura theme park & Caribe aquatic water park is located nearby, great fun for all the family!

By Air: The nearest airport is Reus which is only 35 minutes away by car. It has daily www.Ryanair.com flights from Luton, Stanstead, Birmingham, east midlands & Liverpool. During the summer there are also many charter flights. www.Easyjet.com & lots of other airlines fly into Barcelona airport which is just an hour & half away by car or train.
There is plenty of choice of car hire at the airport. As well as the usual big firms try www.solmar.es There is a brand new road that takes you straight to the resort.
Bus Transfers are available from the airport to reus with connections on to Miami Playa.
By Train: There is a direct train service from Barcelona to stations in Miami Playa and L'Hospitalet de I'Infant.

“A little slice of heaven!” We have recently returned from a lovely holiday in this pretty little villa. We found the owners to be most helpful and always quick to reply with any queries or advice. It was perfect for our family of two adults and two children. We were all happy with the layout and loved the private courtyard and balcony which was perfect for an evening glass of wine and time to relax with a good book! The villa is in a quiet residential area and there is not much nightlife nearby so it is better for those seeking a peaceful holiday base away from too much hustle and bustle. We used a hire car for travelling around which is really a must with this location. We had a fantastic day out in Barcelona-and used the tourist bus to hop on and off at each tourist attraction which was a great way to see this vibrant exciting city. We also had a couple of days at Port Aventura which was only 20 minutes drive away and was great for theme park and water ride fun! We enjoyed using the communal pool at the villa and on most occasions had it to ourselves! There is also a lovely beach just 5 minutes drive away and plenty of supermarkets around too. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and just wish we had booked for two weeks as one week was not enough!!

“Relaxing villa in beautiful surroundings with plenty to do and see nearby” We booked the Casa Bella for a week's holiday in June. The booking procedure was efficiently handled with clear pre-arrival information and directions to the villa. We were delighted on arrival to find that the villa was as lovely as it appeared in the photos. After we returned from our holiday, our deposit was returned very quickly and the owners were helpful and friendly. The villa was in our opinion perfect for a couple, with lots of space to sit outside, both downstairs in an enclosed private area and upstairs in a large verandah off the bedroom which was perfect for breakfast and evening pre dinner drinks, with lovely views onto the nearby mountains. The swimming pool, although shared by 20 other villas, was like our own private pool - we only saw one other swimmer all week. As we were very lucky to have excellent weather all week, we spent a lot of time in the pool. The inside of the villa was comfortable and well equipped, with extra touches such as beach towels which were much appreciated. Our only concerns about the villa were the following: - a sign asking guests to be careful about using the shutters during their stay and if possible not to use them at all. We did open the shutters at the start of the holiday as we wanted to get the benefit of the light in the villa, but we were very cautious about using them. - we decided not to park in the villa grounds as the turn from the lane was tight. There was however plenty of free on road parking nearby in a secure area so it was not a problem. Overall, we had a really special holiday - the villa is very well placed within 2 hours drive from Barcelona airport, just a few minutes drive from Miami Playa which has many beaches and facilities such as supermarkets, shops and restaurants, and with lots of varied scenery (mountainous, coastal and rural) and plenty to see and do. We enjoyed visiting Tarragona, Altafulla and the villages in the nearby hills/mountains as well as the beaches all around....and we liked the fact that the area is still pretty unspolit. We'd definitely recommend the villa and area.
