The legend of Mezegra grew with the capture of Musolini 60 years ago as he made for the Swiss border! Perfectly positioned to visit all areas of the lake, the ferry stop in Lenno (3 mins drive) will give you direct access to the lake for boat hire, the ferry for excursions to Como or take the ferry to Bellagio. Switzerland is less than 30 mins drive, 1 hr to Milan and Monza for the grand prix or just enjoy a delicious italian meal next to the lake, a delicious home made icecream and coffee at George's bar, people watch or take a lake side stroll!! Mezegra boasts some delicious restaurants, supermaket and bars full of local characters!!! Soak up a little sun and a enjoy the dolce vita today!

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Lake Como- for rest, relaxaion, beauty and superb food & Wine. Mezegra is here in the heart of the lake nestled between Villa Carlotta with its majestic gardens and the golden sandy man made beach in Lenno where waiters bring you your favourite cocktail as you relax beneath miniture tented gazebos alongside the lake. Miles of lakeside walks, restaurants and little trattorias serving delicious regional cuisine, cafe culture in full swing with people watching the order of the day. Parks, villas, mountains to explore and gaze at in awe. 22 miles of pool blue water for you to marvel at, swim in or float along. Whatever your fancy, Lake Como never fails to inspire, rejuvinate and encapture one's heart. Mezegra, famous for the capture of one Benito Musolini, enjoys a sunny spot on the west coast of the lake with a tranqil park, lakeside cafes and renowned magnolia tree bar and restaurant with it's idyllic position and lake view! George's bar "trearchi" in the village is a must of the gelato (try noccialo!) Mezzegra area
Mezzegra is situated on the western banks of Lake Como, in the zone of central Lario known as Tremezzina. There is a weekly market in Mezzegra (Friday) and Lenno (Tuesday) where you will be able to buy fresh fish from the lake. In Mezzegra town, you will find supermarkets, the post office, bars, coffeehouses etc.

The apartment is situated on the top floor of a rustic house with a delightful lake view and features a brand new kitchen with all mod cons including a stylish sofa.Dining is available for 4 guests.The bathroom contains a contemporary shower, w/c and bidet. The double bedroom incorprates a brand new double bed, remote control blinds revealing a wonderful lake view for you to wake up to each morning and ample wardrobe space. The 2nd bedroom contains a bunk bed for 2 more guests.
