Home description
There are 4 beautifully restored holiday homes located on this working vineyard, close to a number of pretty villages, towns and numerous stunning beaches. This 3 bedroom house is very spacious and beautifully furnished. A child's bedroom is downstairs, containing bunk beds and a separate toilet. The bright and spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living room has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday, including a log fire for the colder months. Upstairs there are two very large double bedrooms, both with built-in storage. Beside the bedrooms is a very large bathroom with toilet and bath.
There is a shared heated covered pool, outdoor dining facilities including a bbq and on-site horse riding. A great holiday location for kids and adults alike.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Herault region
The Languedoc region is blessed with over 300 days of sunshine a year. The region is very picturesque, with numerous stunning beaches, the mountains an easy drive for hill walking, cycling and river swimming. The beautiful coast line with countless sandy beaches are an easy 10 minute drive. The area is well served with low cost airlines making this area the perfect choice for a summer holiday as well as a long weekend.
There is plenty to do and see in Herault region. This part of France is full of monasteries, castles and the architectural heritage ranges from Roman to Romanesque.
Beautiful and lush vineyards are not only a pleasure for the enthusiasts of country road walks but also for enthusiasts of fine wines. You will have a chance to taste some of the best wines in Languedoc.
Meze / Loupian area
Domaine de Montplaisir is located in southern France in the Bassin de Thau area with its 14km of beaches lining the Grand bleu Meditterannean sea. Its immense salt lake with its sailing boats and local festivities, local gastronomic delights and blue skies offer you all the pleasures and passions for a wonderful holiday. Swimming, countryside hikes, seafood restaurants, entertainment and events, there are many discoveries to be made!
A few minutes away from the domaine de Montplaisir is the charming town of Meze and also Sete, the Venice of the Languedoc, with its canals and celebrated nautical jousting, as well as the hometown of Brassens the poet and singer.
Roundabout you will be pleased to find lovely walks, canoeing and historical places of interest such as the Abbaye de Valmagne, a few minutes away and the picturesque St Guilhem le Desert only half an hour away. The nearest towns Meze and Bouzigues are 5 minutes away, famous for their pretty ports, fabulous restaurants and beaches. Enjoy the local oysters with a glass of chilled Picpoul de Pinet as you watch the boats sail into the harbour.

Montpellier airport is approximately 40 minutes away and is well served by both air and rail. The airport of Montpellier has direct flights from both Stansted with Ryanair and Gatwick with Easyjet. Further details outdoors: Located in a haven of peace amongst pine trees and vines. After a day at the nearby beaches you can relax by the pool or under the pines, light your barbecue and sip the local wines, while you listen to the cicadas sing. Served by a private road 400 m away from main roads. Horse riding is situated 200m away by private road. Private pinewoods to explore.
The house has a private outdoor dining area complete with bbq, located on a working vineyard so it's a great way to watch grape and wine production first hand. There is a shared outdoor covered heated pool, normally heated to 29 deg. C outside of the summer season. The pool is chlorine free, so much easier on your eyes and skin. It is a great place for kids and adults alike.
