Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Or could it be the cliff-top theatre at Mynack, working harbours, the world famous Eden project or St Michaels Mount, cut off from the mainland by a causeway. Or even the endless activities on offer; the Camel Cycling and Walking Trail, stunning coastal paths or the National Surf Centre at Newquay’s Fistral beach. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Mevagissey area
Just 16 miles from the county town of Truro, Mevagissey is the perfect Cornish fishing village. The village still has a working fishing fleet and winding cobbled streets lead down to a harbour full of boats. Mevagissey lies on the Coastal Path and has stunning walks leading along the coast in both directions, allowing visitors to explore the sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves. Within the village is an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants and plenty of shops and boutiques selling unique mementos and gifts. Just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan and only 11 miles away are the world renowned biospheres of the Eden Project. A ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey runs daily between Easter and September and the Tall Ships harbour at Charlestown has a fascinating shipwreck museum to explore. A short drive down the coast are the fabulous beaches and gardens of the Roseland Peninsula whilst the cathedral city of Truro can be reached by car in half an hour.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
