Situated in a large secluded garden, 5 minutes walk (500yds) from the harbour, shops, restaurants, pubs etc. in Mevagissey, 7 minutes walk (600yds) from the sandy beach at Portmellon with pub and free public slipway. On a level approach from the drive, all the living accommodation is on one level, with games room below. An enclosed garden surrounds the property with lawns, patio, BBQ, garden furniture & sea views. Parking for several cars and boat. Games room with pool table, table tennis, darts etc. Reductions for 4 or fewer people outside school holidays.

The West Country / Cornwall region

GalleonsWay is 5 minutes walk (500yds) from the harbour at Mevagissey, which has excellent fishing from the extended lighthouse quay, and off the beach and rocks. Various fishing trips and boat hire available. A passenger ferry runs to Fowey during the season . Diving, water sports, sailing etc. Tennis courts and village sports centre, model railway and fascinating museum, plenty of pubs, restaurants, tea rooms, takeaways, craft shops, pottery, churches, bank, post office etc.

Portmellon Beach (600yds away) is safe for swimming and great for rock pools! There is a free public slipway and pub serving food. Within a 10 minute drive there are many sandy beaches to discover. Beautiful coastal walks, sandy beach at Portmellon and Polstreath. Golf, cycling and riding all within easy reach. Centrally located on the South Cornish coast. National Trust properties and gardens within easy reach, 10 miles Eden Project, 2 miles Lost Gardens of Heligan.


Mevagissey area

Mevagissey is a picturesque fishing village, with many of the old fish cellars of the past being converted into shops and restaurants, cafes and craft galleries. Plenty of choice of eating establishments from takeaways, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

The only double harbour in Cornwall, with a mixture of traditional working fishing boats and leisure craft. Fishing and sight seeing trips available from the harbour, boats for hire, or take the ferry across to the estuary town of Fowey, watch out for dolphins on the way!

Mevagissey has a diving centre, model railway, fascinating museum, aquarium, activity centre with tennis courts, bowles, badminton etc. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Pentewan cycle trail are 2 miles, golf course 5 miles. Portmellon beach is a 5 minute walk. Beautiful cliff top walks in both directions.

Superb sea and coastal views. Small ‘snug’ room with TV and video.

The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, fridge/freezer; washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room.
4 bedrooms; 2 spacious bedrooms each with double bed and fine sea and coastal views; and 2 bedrooms each with one 3ft bed and one 2’6” bed. 2 bathrooms, one with shower over the bath, and one with walk in shower. Additional cloakroom with 3rd toilet.
