Superbly appointed and modernised detached home with 4 bedrooms, 2 on suites plus family bathroom with separate power shower. Our property is situated in Mevagissey. Accessed via a private road with no through way, in its own grounds with parking for up to 5 or 6 cars. The first shops are just 100 metres from the end of the private road and Mevagissey harbour is just 400 metres walk from the house. Distant sea views are possible from the first floor bedrooms but are not a feature of our house.

Being situated very close to the harbour makes this an ideal location to enjoy working fishing village life and the local pubs, restaurants shops etc.. We are suggesting 8 guests but actually have enough beds and bedrooms to sleep up to 11 ensuring complete comfort for a party of 8. The Kitchen is 26 feet x 13 feet and the lounge is 26 x 15 feet giving a spacious feel for your stay.

The property offers the very highest standard of fixtures and fitting offering more than just a 'second home' or holiday accommodation. We have put a lot of energy into creating a relaxing atmosphere. We are sure you will enjoy our home and locality as much as we do.

There is a ground floor bedroom with en-suite that can be useful to accommodate guests who find stairs difficult. The main bedrooms all have UK King size beds. The lounge pull out sofa bed is Queen size.

As the house enjoys an elevated position and the first part of the driveway is quite steep. There is flat parking for at least two vehicles in front of the house so access from vehicle to house is easy. The driveway will accommodate up to 5 or 6 cars. There is an attached garage which may be available by arrangement.

The lounge features a solid fuel fire providing a cosy atmosphere during winter breaks.

A full size football / foosball table is provided for your use and is situated in the kitchen.

From the kitchen dining area and also the lounge, double doors lead to a walled and decked patio area with a table and seating for 8 plus a barbecue. The rear of the property is south facing and therefore has sun throughout the day and into late evening.

A refundable security deposit of £100 is required with balance 8 weeks before holiday. Returned within two weeks after the end of the rental period on satisfactory hand over.

"The best place to stay in Mevagissey"

After reading the other review I needed to write this. Greenbanks is a gem and of the highest standard of accomodation. Its a home from home, but better and a fantastic place for a big family to stay. The layout and design of this property ensures comfort and space. It has everthing you need and you want to take the close walk around Meva and the harbour just so you can return to the warm and inviting house, our family has had great times here and its well worth a stay if you value the extra efforts made by the owner to make this place so special.

I have stayed in many palces in Mevagissey and without a doubt this is the finest on offer, its hard to leave and a Lottery win dream of owning it.

"Nice house in good location"

A nice house in a good location. Has a very steep driveway. Garden is sloped, so hard for children to play much in. Would be nice to have the beds made for you. Not used to making beds after a long journey. For the price paid we expected to have the beds made up. Has all the facilities that you need to have, except a dryer, which is always handy with kids. Washing line was overgrown with brambles, which I had to clear. Seems to be a regular problem looking at the visitors book.Close to the harbour which is very good.

Driveway has parking for 5 cars and yes driveway is quite steep but this is Cornwall. Beds are not made up so that visitors can chose which beds they use and in which rooms. This is made clear in the booking terms and conditions. Had we been notified of a problem with the washing line we could have rectified this as we would with any issue any of our guests have. No where in the details do we suggest there is a dryer.
