About the home
Gondolin is an attractive, newly converted house in the very heart of the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey. A level 100yd walk to the harbour at the end of a happy day will be the highlight of your holiday. There is a secluded garden, storage for cycles etc. and access & parking for one medium sized car.
The entrance hall leads into the spacious and airy living room, comfortably furnished with electric fire, storage heater, TV and DVD player (plus DVD library). The large kitchen/diner is luxuriously fitted with Belfast sink and wooden block worktop and washing machine. There are storage heaters provided.
Upstairs, the double bedroom has a charming round feature window with glimpses of the sea. To the front of the house, there is a twin bedded room with spacious fitted wardrobe.
The luxury fully tiled bathroom has WC, wash basin and bath/shower. Gondolin provides an exceptional standard of holiday accommodation in a truly unique location.

There is a parking space for one medium sized family car. Some guests have found the entrance to The Saltings to be a little tricky, for others it has not been a problem (see photos), however, weekly parking elsewhere in Mevagissey is available between £30.00 to £35.00 per week if preferred.

Come to Cornwall and enjoy a great Cornish holiday. Mevagissey is situated on the southern riviera coast, just 5 miles from St Austell and the Eden Project, making it an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful county. It is a small, unspoilt fishing village with a colourful history of boat building and smuggling, which still retains its traditional character and nowadays has a selection of top quality pubs, restaurants and shops.
The Mevagissey area
Mevagissey - a magical place for your holiday. A traditional Cornish fishing village, where you can wander the narrow alleyways, browse gift shops and art galleries, try the local ale in one of the many pubs, have a fine dinner in one of the excellent restaurants and finally walk around the moon-lit harbour. The perfect setting for a perfect Cornish holiday.

Gondolin cottages was a honour to stay in ,it was a credit to its owners there was every thing you needed for a self catering holiday .would recommed to any one to stay in this cottage .The village of mevagissey was beautiful,will certainly be booking up again. Gondolin is a superb cottage in the middle of a lovely, charming town. What's not to like? It's very convenient for lots of the major attractions. Plenty of local eateries etc. Very attractively priced and excellent value.
