About the home

Bay View Cottage is a character terraced cottage in Mevagissey. It has three double bedrooms - all of which have en-suite shower rooms. There is a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove and wonderful views over St Austell Bay. Parking can be found in one of the local car parks. Bay View Cottage is next to the harbour and is ideally placed for the amenities in Mevagissey, and for the area's attractions such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan or the Eden Project.

Electric convector heating with woodburning stove in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking in public car parks 10 mins walk from property. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 mins walk. Note: One of the double bedrooms is small and has tight access on either side of the bed. Note: Cottage is reached up a steep hill from the village centre.

The Mevagissey area

With winding cobbled streets and a harbour full of boats, the village of Mevagissey is the epitome of a small, Cornish fishing town. This quaint little settlement boasts sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves in addition to a variety of stunning walks which lead along the coast in both directions. The town is also home to an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants whilst the nearby Lost Gardens of Heligan offer an excellent day out. Between Easter and September, visitors can enjoy a ferry ride between Mevagissey and Fowey, or spend some time at the Tall Ships harbour at Charlestown. With a shipwreck museum and the tropical biomes of the world famous Eden Project within easy driving distance, this beautiful area has something for everyone.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
