Chapel Cottage is located along a rural country lane in the quiant hamlet of Merstone, central to the Island, therefore all Isle of Wight attractions are easily accessible from this peaceful location, Newport the capital is 10 mins away, whilst the beaches of Shanklin and Sandown or Ryde are just 15 mins away

The Merstone area

There are so many things to do and see on the island. There are annual music events such as Bestival and the Isle of Wight festival that bring thousands of people to the Island to go see world famous bands and DJ's. There are tons of churches, museums and historic buildings to see, as well as lively bars, restaurants and clubs to go to in the evenings.

Drage Family –We have been coming to I.O.W. for over 10 years, sometimes twice in the same year and have sampled all sorts of accommodation!! Chapel Cottage is by far the best place we have stayed in. The standard of cleanliness, comfort and equipment are brilliant. It is a great relaxing setting in which you can forget about going back to work! Will definitely be coming back again – see you soon!
