The St Philip Parish region
Located in the South East of the island, 2 minutes drive from the famous Bottom Bay beach and within 5 minutes drive of the popular Crane, East Point, Sam Lords Castle and Foul Bay beaches.
St. Philip offers a number of places of historic interest such as Sunbury House - historic plantation house and a number popular picnic locations.
We are within 10 minutes drive of the Emerald City shopping mall which boast a number of shops including a supermarket, bank, gas station, post office and a number of restaurants.
5 minutes from the Crane Resort this has 2 restaurants overlooking the beach 10 minutes to Kendal Country Pistol Club with a lovely Colonial Bar, 20 minutes to the South Coast (Gap, Oistins, Dover) 30 minutes to the West Coast (St James, Holetown, Mullins) 30 min. to golf 40 minutes to St. Lawrence Gap
Barbados offer tourists an abundance of activities ranging from water sports, golf, nature hikes, island tours, cruises, visits to the museum and the Wild Life Reserve, just to mention a few.
Merricks area
Located in the quiet residential area of Merricks yet within 40 minutes drive to popular night spots of St. Lawrence Gap, Oistin's outdoor fish fry, the west coast of the island and the capital Bridgetown. We are off Highway 5 (which leads into the capital Bridgetown) making this an ideal location to explore the island with relative ease.
3 minutes drive from East Point Lighthouse also known as Ragged Point Lighthouse' which has been in existence since 1875 and is still operational.
The island boast three outstanding golf courses: Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland located on the West coast about 30 minutes drive and the Barbados Golf Club located to the South of the island is 20 minutes drive from LaToya's. For lovers of miniature golf there is a course and marine park nearby.
Public transportation available to places throughout the island, however, car hire advised to explore the island.
