You're only 20 minutes away from the beach, 5 minutes walking from Garajonay Park and 45 minutes by car from San Sebastian where you have the capital of La Gomera.

The La Gomera region

La Gomera is the second smallest of the seven islands which comprise the Canary archipelago. It lies in the Atlantic off the coast of Africa, west of Tenerife, north east of El Hierro and south east of La Palma.

The climate on La Gomera is typical for the Canary Islands with pleasantly warm temperatures the whole year round. Expect the thermometer to be showing between 20 and 21 degrees Celsius in winter, rising to between 26 and 30 degrees from June to October. December and January are the months with the most rainfall.

Although you have a micro climat which means that in a very short distance you can have different climats.

Things to see on the island include La Gomera, beautiful Garajonay Park, beach, excellent local restaurants serving a wide range of cuisines to suit all tastes, roads leading to nice local towns and the starting points for long rambles through nature.

La Gomera can be reached by boat, you need to arrive at Tenerife south Reina Sofia. From Reina Sofia airport it is 20 minutes driving to the port where you can take the boat to La Gomera. At the Airport Reina Sofia you can take a taxi or we have pick up service. On your arrival at the port we give you the keys and a detailed map on how to get to the property, as well as a map of all places of interest.
