Winter ski season from 9th Dec'06 - 29th. April.'07 Direct acces to whole of Les Trois Vallees. Ski chairlift just 3 minues from Chalet, immediately linking you to the whole of The 3 Valleys. You can ski home from the top of Mnt. Saulire(2760m) in one decent, on blue or red runs,all the way to the blue run into the village (1400m)
Summer temperatures 22c-32c with mainly clear skies and clean fresh air. Summer lifts open from 24th June to 31st August. Meribel main summer activities & 18 hole golf course 5 mins away. Bozel swimming lake 15 mins. Lake Annecy 45 mins drive. Brides Le Bains, famous Spa town 10 mins.
Meribel / Les Trois Vallees area
Meribel is in the centre of Les Trois Vallees, the largest ski area in the world, renowned for its attention to safety and piste maintenence. In winter, apart from the huge ski terrain ( over 200 lifts and 600kms of groomed pistes) both Meribel and Courchevel have great snow board parks Non ski activities include, snow shoe walking, Husky sled riding, ice skatng, swimming in the large indoor pool, bowling, paragliding,indoor rock climbing wall. For summer the world class 18 hole Meribel golf course is less than 10 mins away. There is an Adventure Park for kids & parents of all ages. Full clean before & after your stay.Great attention has been given to provide you with a home from home, in the beauty of the mountains. For outside dining in the summer, wooden table & chairs provided, plus deckchairs. even a picnic rucksac, rug & binoculars.
Further details outdoors: The village centre is a 4 minute walk and has a well stocked supermarket, ski/sports shop and lovely Boulangerie, 2 restaurants and a lively bar with sun terrace. In additional to the village chairlift, there is a free shuttle bus to Meribel Town, 2 kms away, with its many shops, bars ,restaurants and clubs. A contrast to the 'village atmosphere' of Meribel village. For skiing, your last run of the day can be from the top of Mnt. Saulire(2,760m) in a single decent, all the way to the blue run into the village(1400m). This piste has good snow all season and is maintained, if need be in pristine condition by snow cannons. To reserve your holiday a refundable security deposit of £300/450€uros to be paid. There is a lift from the chalet entrance to the apartment on the 1st floor, but as the chalet is built down the mountain side it has a terrace and a small private garden. It is safe for small children or the infirm.In summer deckchairs and wooden dining table and chairs for outside dining, plus picnic rucksack and rug provided. Dinners served in the apartment can be arranged and a nanny service and/or creche care
