'Mimosa' is a two bedroom apartment right by the main pedestrian section where all the restaurants and cafes are. It is a few minutes' walk to the two main beaches and only 100m from the market where fresh food is available.
It can comfortably sleep 3, in the 2 bedrooms. There is a reasonably substantial fold-up bed for a 4th person. I have slept on it a number of times. It has recently been completely refurbished, and all items in it are new. We think there is a pleasant easy feel to the place. The rooms are light and airy, with windows facing East for sun in the morning and West for the afternoon sun.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
Menton has the best climate in the whole of the Cote D'Azur. Apparently with over 300 sunny days a year, making this a perfect summer and winter holiday destination.
The facinating old Town dating back some 800 years is great to walk around.
The safe and protected beach of Plage des Sablettes is great for families and young children as it is shallow for a long way and is protected by 2 breakwaters.
Menton area
Mid - Feb to early March - Lemon Festival Feb (I think) - Monte Carlo Rally May - Monaco Grand Prix.
There are so many places worth a visit from the great beaches, the mountain villages, such a Gorbio and St.Agnes to the Mercantour National Park with its 3000m peaks.

How to get there
The nearest airport to Menton is Nice in the Cote D'Azur, which is 18 miles, 28km away. There are many airlines which go to Nice. Typically British Airways and EasyJet are to name two. These of course are UK and Europe based airlines.
There is a regular bus service from Nice airport, terminals 1 and 2 that goes to Menton in about an hour. Alternatively trains run from very close to the airport, along the spectacular coast line to Menton and beyond to Italy.
You can hire a car easily at the airport. One word of warning. Menton is not all that car friendly. It is a very popular tourist destination and its narrow streets and minimum parking can make it quite difficult at the height of season. However, every time I have been there I have hired a car.

Further details indoors: At 65m squared, the apartment is a good size for a family of 4. Although the shared stairway is a bit unkept, the apartment itself is pleasant, clean and modern.

Please note: The price listed below is for 2 people. There is additional cost for more people as more linen and cleaning is required, although this is a small amount.
A 25% deposit is required in order to hold the booking, with the balance being paid 1 month prior to departure. A refundable key deposit of £50 is also required. This being returned to you on the safe return of the keys.
