The lounge features a flat screen TV, dvd player ,playstation and a selection of games and dvd films for the children,three seater sofa which converts into a comfortable double bed,occasional chairs,and the kitchen is fully fitted with every convenience. Bedroom 1 has double bed and large wardrobe and leads out on to the balcony. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and one pull out bed and large wardrobe. There are 2 toilets.

The Menton area
Menton, with its warm sunny days throughout the year has the perfect mixture of old and new which is joined seemlessly in this charming harbour town.
It has a beautiful new marina as well as a sailing and diving school. Menton is the perfect location for visiting the chic resorts of the French and Italian Riviera as the local train stops at all the famous towns-Monaco, Villefranche, Beaulieu, Eze, Nice, Cannes, Ventimiglia, San Remo.
There are many activities including golf at the Monte Carlo golf club, tennis at Monaco Country Club, visit one of the wonderful day spa resorts in Monaco such as in the Hotel de Paris for some serious pampering at a reasonable price. Walking, paragliding, sailing, swimming, windsurfing are available nearby. Rent a yacht for the day in Monaco harbour. 3 ski stations are within 1-hour drive in Italy and France. There is the vibrant and colourful Menton Lemon Festival, Nice Festival and Jazz Festival, Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes film festival - the list is endless. Theatre, ballet, and orchestra, casinos, Monte Carlo Sporting Club, cabaret for an evening out. Wonderful shopping in San Remo, Monaco and Nice.
Roquebrune old village is perched on the mountainside, super views of Monte-Carlo across its bay. Monaco and Monte-Carlo are less than 5 miles have many attractions including the Palace and of course the Grand Prix and various carting races during the year. Many houses and gardens to see. Good walking either along the coast or in the mountains, you can walk the 'Corbusier Way' around the Cap to Monaco in about 3 hours, and get the bus or train back. You could also see the old village or visit the castle.
Visit Europe’s biggest market in Vintimille in Italy or ventrure onto the hill top village of Gorbio where on Thursday after Corpus Christi in June the annual rite of Procession des Limaces takes place.
The weather is nice especially in winter because it is never cold.
Local & tour buses visit a number of picturesque hillside villages -St.Agnes, Gorbio, Dolce Aqua and Mercantour Park. It has an easy relaxed style and is an ideal holiday location for all ages. Car parking (free) is available on streets outside the apartment.

Fly direct to Nice with Easyjet, BMI, Aer Lingus and Ryanair and take direct express coach from airport to Menton( I stop in Monaco). Coach stops short walking distance from apartment. Journey time by coach is 50 mins or 20/25 mins by car from airport.
All of the major car hire companies have offices at Nice airport and Menton.
Menton has excellent train service to Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Ventimeglia and all the tourist locations on the Cote d Àzur. A TGV train travels to/from Menton -Paris daily in the summer season.

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter stayed in this apartment for one week. We found the accommodations to be very comfortable and in a great location. The apartment is very child friendly which was important to us since our granddaughter is a very active one-year-old. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in and the apartment is spacious. The location is ideal with easy access to buses and the train. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a pleasant, quiet stay on the French Riviera.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Menton and the apartment was clean, quiet and close to everything.
Both the owner and the property Manager were very accommodating.

Travelled there in June 2010 with my wife and two children,we had a brilliant holiday the apartment is in an excellent location less that a 5 minute walk away from the beach it is
also within easy walking distance to shops/ restaurants. There is a great little park across the road from the apartment for young children and with Kolaland (Amusement park) only down the road the children where kept well occupied in the evenings.We didnt hire a car so depended a lot on public transport for going to Monaco Cannes , Italy etc which was very efficient and again bus stop and train station was easy walking distance from apartment.The apartment itself had everything you would need in it , its really clean very well maintained.
The booking process was easy and the owner was very friendly.
I would definitely recommend this destination/apartment to friends and family, hope to return some time in the near future.
