About the home

The apartment (65 sqm = 690 shft) is located on the third floor of an house dating from the Renaissance in the "Old Town," two minutes from the sea. The view on the sea is wonderful. You have an Entrance, small water place and toilets, a very large room with a bed/sofa, two large windows with view on the sea, and a new American kitchen. Then on the first floor, a place for a bed or to study on the mezzanine, then a bathroom with bathtub and toilets, and a large bedroom. - non smoking place-no pets. Menton is situated between Nice and the Italian border. It is well known because the weather is warm even in winter. The sea is wonderful and (if you think you can) you may swim for Christmas. the mountains behind are beautiful too, and one hour from Menton you can ski, in winter. And all the year long enjoys the promenade in the riviera.

Menton is one of the most beautiful towns on the Cote d'Azur near the Italian border, with several beaches, two Ports, and a charming 'Old Town' area. The streets are lined with Orange, Palm, and Lemon trees. Its parks and gardens are splendid.
The 'Old Town' of Menton is full of charm with winding shady streets and footpaths. The old food market in Menton has a fabulous atmosphere and offers an enormous selection of all the delicacies from the Region. There are terraced cafes next to the old fountains with bars and restaurants on the beaches, so there is choice for everyone. The weather nice specially in winter because it is never cold.

“Good location” The apartment is quite large on 2 levels. There is an upstairs double bedroom and a pull out bed downstairs for 2 adults. The view is fantastic. You can see both ways down the coast and overlooks a good beach. There is a fully equipped kitchen which is modern. The apartment is in the old mediieval town and on the 3rd floor. No lift, so you need to be reasonably fit. The town centre is just 5 minutes walk. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again. Axel the owner is easy to deal with and has local people handy if there are any problems.
