This modern, well equipped and spacious 70 sq mtr sea view apartment is located in the 1920's Palais Ausonia on the 5th floor which is accessed by lift. From the apartment's balcony there are stunning views of the Mediterranean and to the gardens below.

The apartment has
+ 2 virtually identical twin bedded bedrooms with wardrobes and bedside tables.
+ 2 shower rooms each with basin, shower & toilet.
+ Spacious living room with comfortable seating and access to the balcony.
+ Kitchen area well equipped for self catering and seating for 4 persons.
+ Telephone access to secure ground floor entrance.
+ Internet access
+ Digital TV with wide programme range including one or two UK channels.

Further details outdoors:
There is free street parking to the rear of the building but otherwise there are parking meters in Menton and an underground public car park close by.

Conditions

The minum let period is one week and addtional days are available on a pro-rata basis.
Changeover day is flexible (except no Sundays) so that more economic mid week flights are usually available.
A 25% deposit is required to secure a reservation with the balance paid one month before the holiday.

Menton. "The Pearl of the Riviera"

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The French & Italian Riviera is noted for it's climate and wide range of interesting places and activities. With mountainous country to to North and the Mediterranean to the South the temperate climate makes the region ideal for holiday breaks throughout the year. There are many festivals including the Cannes film festival and of course the Monaco Grand Prix which is just 10 minutes on the train from Menton. Christmas & New Year celebrations in Monaco make for a memorable occasion.

The Menton area

Menton enjoys a micro climate as discovered by our Royal family and Winston Churchill amongst many otheres in times gone by. It's known as "The Pearl of the Riviera". It is usually pleasant to sit along the front for a drink or whatever even in the middle of the winter months. There is a wide range of local activities from sports to markets to gardens and of course the Citron Festival each February is of international renown.

Local and very nearby facilities include shops, restaurants, bars, gardens, the Casino, markets and plenty of sports activities. Access to both the French and Italian Riviera resorts is simple by car, bus or train. The local railway & bus stations are about 5 minutes walk away.

We are finding the apartment very comfortable and it's perfectly located. It is a bonus to have all the modern conveniences.in a beautiful building with such a historic feel. And being so high above the street gives a better view and less noise. I am beginning to think that there could be no better place to while away a month or two every year for the rest of our lives, even if we searched the world over. Lucky you!
