Villaduna is located just 5 minutes walk from the sea, that is renowned for its cristal clear water and a long sandy beach, that belongs to 3 different districts of Menfi: Lido Fiori, Cipollazzo and Porto Palo. In July and August, on the Porto palo beach, it is possible to hire all the necessary equipment to practice different water sports. Area offers excellent pizzerias and restaurants at convenient prices, for the remarkable quality of the Sicilian and international dishes. Menfi is a famous wine district, that produces brands like Mandrarossa and Inycon. Local fish is recommended with a Sicilian "Grecanico".

The Sicily region
Sicily, called also "Trinacria" by Homer because of its triangular shape, is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea, with wonderful landscapes and cities – most of which located along the coast. Sicily has been a "crossroad" of many diffenent cultures in different centuries, each of them leaving important heritages, still possible to admire. Syracuse, Catania, Naxos, Messina, Gela, Agrigento, Selinunte, Segeste - are only a few of the archeological sites to be discovered.
Menfi / Porto Palo di Menfi area
In ancient times known as the "Inycon" the town of Menfi was founded in 1638 by Diego Tagliavia Aragon. Located along the southwestern coast of Sicily, in a position between the Doric temples of Selinunte, and the archaeological excavations of Heraclea, Menfi today is a predominantly agricultural town that bases its wealth on the cultivation of the earth. In particular, it is the cultivation of the vine and production of wine that have made this city famous around the world, becoming one of the most important wine districts in Italy.
The old fishing village of Porto Palo is the most important seaside resort.
Blue European Flag for the last 10 years has awarded the sea of Porto Palo, and its sandy beaches stretch for the entire length of the gulf in an enchanting and relaxing environment.
Every year, at the first weekend of July, Menfi celebrates its main product: the wine. This interesting event, entitled "Inycon" is sponsored by the Comune of Menfi and Cantine Settesoli, and has now established itself as one of the most interesting wine festivals of the area.

How To Reach us:
- Fly to Palermo International Airport - Menfi is 106 km from the airport, about 1hour and 20 min by car.
- Other option: Trapani Airport is 66 km from Menfi but only for low cost flights.
- For those who start the trip from the western Part of Sicily: Catania Int. Airport -distant 250 km from Menfi, 3 hours and 30 min by car.
- Cheap flights available with: www.ryanair.com; www.easyjet.com; www.clickair.com; www.expedia.it; www.edreams.it.
- Once arrived in one of the above mentioned airports, car hire available.
- Connection with buses and trains is very poor between the Sicilian cities, so we suggest you to consider car rent a neccessity.
- For the guests who wish to be picked up, we can arrange it charging extra amount.

Further details indoors: Apartment in Villaduna is big enough for 5 persons. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with a wonderful sea view, furnished with a table and chairs. There is also the second shower outside. With one double and one twin bedroom (+1 single bed), both spacious, this apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during their stay.

We normally meet our guests at the entrance of Menfi and then lead them to the house. Welcome pack is providied on arrival: a bottle of wine, water, milk and local cookies. If requested in advance, we can do shopping of the products the guests want to find in the apartment, paying only the price of the products, no extra charge.
Conditions
- We ask 30% of the renal fee, as soon as the customer takes the decision to rent. - Strictly no smoking inside the apartments, only on the balcony. - Linen/towels have extra charge: 15 Euros per person for the first change, 10 Euros for every following one. - 40 Euros extra charge for the final clean up. - All the other costs like: electricity, gas, water... are included.
