Le Mas Des Chênes
Villa | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
Situated on a country road between Ménerbes and Lacoste, this ancient fortified farm of 18 th century, completely renovated, invites you to share a softness and a Provencal lifestyle in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park.
Stone walls, antique furniture, antiques here and there; each room has its own character and atmosphere.
The four rooms are unique and customized in every detail, each with its own bathroom.
The house opens onto a park of three acres planted with truffle oaks, pines and olive trees and beautiful views of the countryside and the Grand Luberon.
The park is adorned with several terraces and walls of old buildings.
Inlaid in the hollow of this lush, the pool at the old 10m x 4m (protected by an alarm and a submerged gate) is a marvelous freshness awaits you for a moment of relaxation. (6 sunbathing).
The terrace is sheltered by a large wrought iron pergola and hosts a dining room (and BBQ) and a summer lounge.
The house is built around a beautiful courtyard paved.
Fishing booms rocked by the sweet water of the fountain and surrounded by greenery, the court is an invitation to rest.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region
Provence offers so much to explore and delight in, whether you are into the natural wonder and fresh produce, cities you can walk round in a day, the historical perspective, or you want to get out there on foot or bike and just discover
The Luberon is characterised by a series of strikingly picturesque perched, hill-top villages, dating back 1000 years or more - famous names like Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Lacoste and Menerbes of course, but also a host of beautiful villages that are relatively unknown, which you can explore here...
Lacoste takes you up, up through the centuries, from the little restaurant at the bottom with its two curry options, past the Café de la France and its spectacular hanging terrace. Then the Mairie and up into the middle ages, over heavy cobbles as you enter the ancient heart of the old Lacoste through the Portail de la Garde.
Up here little has changed except the tread of time, from as far back as the 1400s. Here there are no shops or restaurants, just a jumble of ornately decorated doors, mullioned windows, and intriguing architectural details
