About the home

Villa Bea-a spacious modern villa surrounded by mature terraced gardens and boasting breathtaking lakeviews from inside or out. Dine inside or alfresco on the terrace and take in miles of stunning lake views!
The villa is situated just 5 minutes from the centre of Menaggio with its array of boutiques,authentic restaurants, supermarket, lido beach and ferry port which accesses the whole lake .

The living room features a cosy fireplace, comfortable dining for 8 guests. Fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons-and is a real chef's delight!, The living room accesses the roofed terrace with access to the gardens.

You can dine inside or out, either way you can enjoy tremendous lake views. The patio doors slide back to reveal the lake as you dine inside, in fact most of the summer clients leave the windows and doors open to enjoy the fresh breeze, a welcome reprise from the balmy summer sunny days enjoyed here at the villa.

The living room features comfy sofas, tv with selected satellite channels (British and German) and wifi access.

The first floor where the living room is located also includes a lake view double bedroom plus shower room
with w.c.

The spiral staircase takes you downstairs to the three further bedrooms ( 2 doubles, 1 twin)

One of the bedrooms includes two small sofabeds ideal for young children extending the maximum amount of guests which can stay to ten. Three of the downstairs bedrooms are located within the villa , a double and twin, whilst a 3rd bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom has its own private entrance from the ground floor.


We can also supply extra single children beds for 2 extra guests (home will sleep 10 in total)
with a single bed added to the twin room and double room downstairs.

A staircase takes you down to three bedrooms each with adjoining shower room with two of the bedrooms featuring french windows opening up to the gardens,one of which is a double room, the other a twin room.


The 3rd bedroom boasts en suite facilities (shower and w.c) on the same level and includes an independent entrance from the garden.
The property is fenced and includes a garage for up to 4 cars.

The villa benefits from huge grounds including private terrace, balcony, garden with a further mature garden
on two upper levels, the ideal spot to relax in the shade in the summer and take in the lake view.

Roofed terraces and mature gardens are a feature of this home and add real character and a sense of homlinesss to the villa.

The garden level (ground floor) and terrance all commnand splendid panoramic lake views.

The private garden measures 4500 square metres of outside space
so you can enjoy a real sense of space and privacy.

The inviting private pool (12 x 4 x 1.7 meters) offers lakeview swimming

If you value peace and tranquility Lake Como will delight and refresh in equal measure. The welcoming locals add to the ocassion, visit the bakery for baking from a seemingly bygone age or pop in for some tomatoes and rocket from the local fruit & veg man, and he will be happy to give you a few receipe tips! Think of the uk with the ugly bits taken out, majestic mountains, a mesmering world renowned lake,sprinkle in some balmy weather, seemingly happy and content local people, consistently good food & wine and you have an idea of the ingrdients that make Lake Como such a sought after holiday location!
Pretty piazzas, 14th century churches, ornately furnished parks, lidos and beaches, vivacious villas, lazy lunches and boat hire for a memorable day out are just are few examples of life here.
World renowned cuisine, the simple italian seasonal flavours are in evidence throughout the pretty village here in Menaggio from exquisite hotels to trattorias and cafes, all serving delicious regional cuisine. The lido in Menaggio is the perfect way to relax, the ferry accessible to most parts of the lake including Bellagio.
But remember, if a relaxing break with nothing more than a book and glass of wine is your idea of bliss, doing nothing much is a theme of lakeside living.

The Menaggio / Loveno area

Menaggio is the principal village on the west side of the lake Approx 45 minutes from Como or Lugano (Switzerland). The village features with narrow streets, pretty boutiques and restaurants, and cosy piazza's . In summer concerts, antique markets & all year round the weekly market are a feature of the village with fresh lake fish, local cheeses, seasonal vegetables etc

The village is home to gelaterias, a bakery, bank, ferry to access the whole lake from Bellagio directly across the lake,
Tremezzo with the famous Villa Carlotta and Como is accessible by ferry, bus or car.

The villa is beautiful. We experienced the best of wines and cheese by the pool every day. Thankyou for the glasses for the wine tasting.

Highlights... The short walk to Hotel Roay for outstanding food. Cookery claseses in Varenna with Morena Maglia. The fresh items in the garden so we could replicate recipies hre. Enoteca wine shop Bellagio, Nobert and Ivana-superb!

We wish to return again.
