Menaggio is the lakefront town par excellence only a ferry ride away from Bellagio
(10 minutes by hydrofoil, 25 mins by slow ferry if you wish to unwind). Palm lined lake front walks, award winning geletaria, pretty piazza's, cafe bars, boutiques all amidst a stunning lake view back drop.
The apartment itself has been tastefully designed with picture windows to highlight the stunning view, sleeps 6 and benefits from 2 bathrooms, lake view balcony. Positioned in the heart of the village centre, the apartment
is ideally located to take advantage of everything Menaggio can offer without the need for a car!

The welcoming locals add to the ocassion, visit the bakery for baking from a seemingly bygone age or pop in for some tomatoes and rocket from the local fruit & veg man, and he will be happy to give you a few receipe tips! Think of the uk with the ugly bits taken out, majestic mountains, a mesmering world renowned lake,sprinkle in some balmy weather, seemingly happy and content local people, consistently good food & wine and you have an idea of the ingrdients that make Lake Como such a sought after holiday location!
Pretty piazzas, 14th century churches, ornately furnished parks, lidos and beaches, vivacious villas, lazy lunches and boat hire for a memorable day out are just are few examples of life here.
World renowned cuisine, the simple italian seasonal flavours are in evidence throughout the pretty village here in Menaggio from exquisite hotels to trattorias and cafes, all serving delicious regional cuisine. The lido in Menaggio is the perfect way to relax, the ferry accessible to most parts of the lake including Bellagio.

Nice to hear from you. We did enjoy our stay there.

I stayed here with 3 other guests stayed at the property in Menaggio, 62138 , Lake Como in October 2008 and that the property was as advertised at the holidayslettings.co.uk site.
The place was very conveniently located to travel throughout Lake Como and visit all the towns. As well, the property has an Amazing view, and good facilities (2 full bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen), that made our stay very convenient.

I would recommend this place.

We stayed at your apartment in Lake Como and it was fabulous! it has fantastic views and is incredibly convenient for the town - just a short, and relatively flat walk into town within a few minutes - my father doesn't walk too well and we were so pleased that we went with this location rather than some of the other towns which had steeper streets. The apartment is spaceous and tastefully decorated and I would defintely recommend it to others.

I just want to tell you that we had a marvelous time in Menaggio and loved everyday on the lake. The apartment was comfortable and we couldn't have asked for a better location, it was perfect.

Thanks for setting us up with Andrea, he was marvellous, One of our fondest memories will be the fabulous dinner that we had at his restaurant last Wednesday, it was delightful.

Toni(the owner)way great too. We realized after he had left the apartment that the 3rd bedroom didn't have any linen, so I called him and within a half hour Andrea was back with the linen and towels..
We hope to return for another vacation some day and will be in touch to rent this apartment again.
