A beautiful apartment in the house that was built only last year; has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 people in 3 king-size beds and a bunk bed plus a resident cot for babies.

The property has its own private entrance, a small private pool overlooking the lake and garden with barbecue area.

This property is spacious and airy, with loads of day light making it feels really homely. It is furnished to a highest standard in a contemporary but cosy style, with a comfortable and luxury furnishing.

With loads of space both inside and outside the property, you will have a choice of a relaxing evening on the sofa with a glass of wine or al fresco dining with your family and friends.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area

The area offers water as well as beautiful mountains for trekking or to use a mountain bike. A day on the beach a day in the city (Como or even Milan) a day to visit part of the picturesque and romantic area like Santa Maria Rezzonico, Menaggio, Porlezza (Lake Lugano 10 km), Varenna (15 min by boat), Bellaggio (8 min by boat), Lenno, Laglio (where George Clooney lives) then a day in the mountains with spectacular views the west coast of the lake, where Menaggio is situated is very well known for it's villas which you can visit.

The most important one is in Tremezzo, it is called Villa Carlotto, built in 1750, now converted to a museum with fantastic botanic gardens. You have a different trip every day, next to relax in and around the apartment. Shopping is very good in Como or even in Menaggio, of course Como is a bigger city and offers more shops, but Menaggio is very pretty and has a great atmosphere as well we can help you rent a bike and much more.

Menaggio / Croce area

Menaggio is a bustling village and lively resort with a good deal of character. It stands at the junction of a valley leading west to Lugano in Switzerland, approx 25km away. But below is the lovely main Piazza Garibibaldi and surrounding alleyways. Menaggio is well kept, attractive and has a fine view east across the lake to Bellagio and varenna.

It also sees more of a mix of visitors than many of it's neighbours, with a reputation for sports and activities - famously golf, hiking and cycling in the mountains as well as swimming and sunbathing on it's beach.
Eating out in Menaggio with great food for often very reasonable prices. Menaggio enjoys the sun all day and it's inhabitants are friendly and helpful.

Three of the four bedrooms look out onto the lake and have their own doors onto the terrace on the ground and first floor. The apartment has been built and decorated to a very high standard with fully fitted kitchen (including dishwasher), 2 bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bath), a laundry room (with washing machine), and a combined lounge and dining room.

There is a SAT TV and DVD player in the living area, and CD player with ipod docking station.

There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the apartment.

We wanted the apartment to be baby/ child-friendly and so have provided basic items such as a high chair, travel cot, pushchair, bottle steriliser, potty, toilet seat, bath seat, stair-gate and changing mat for our guests use. Further cots / beds are available from Harold, and can be placed in the downstairs bedroom, which has plenty of space for additional furniture.

Please note though that care must be taken with young children outside the apartment as a result of the pool / steps up to the entrance.

Cleaning Costs:

There is a final cleaning cost of €70 when staying for one week & €90 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price.

Short Breaks:

3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff

We offer a range of facilities, which are available for hire through our office ‘Happy Holiday Homes’ in Menaggio:

Payments by Credit/Debit Card & Wire Transfer:

There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
