About the home

Sogno Infinito is a luxury apartment within a period villa, with the added bonus of having amazing lake views and a large swimming pool with panoramic views to infinity. Relax in your sunlounger on the large terrace and enjoy magnificent views of the lake.

The kitchen and living room are open plan . The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with a large American style fridge, complete with ice maker so you have every excuse to indulge yourself with those afternoon cocktails whilst you relax on the terrace absorbing the wonders of this magical place.There is a worktop island and a cooker with a grill.

To compliment the marble floors the apartment is elegantly furnished, throughout. The living room has two comfortable sofas, TV and DVD. there is 1 large double bedroom, one bathroom with jacuzzi;

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region

Take the time to visit the beautiful historic buildings and botanical gardens around Lake Como - such as Villa Carlotta, extremely photogenic, featuring romantic statuary and lush gardens; Villa Balbianello, a film location recently seen in Casino Royale, the latest James Bond movie.

Italian National Trust property since 1988, the villa hosts a great collection of art, antique furniture & carpets. The gardens are delightful and are open to visitors. In Varenna, a short ferry ride from Menaggio & Bellagio, are two more stunning properties, Villa Monastero and Villa Cipressi - both have beautiful gardens that are open to the public between April - October. In Bellagio you can go on guided tours around Villa Serbelloni, property of the Rockerfella Foundation since 1959.

The lakes of Como & Lugano offer the most scenic spots in all of Italy. Ferries carry passengers across there shimmering waters from town to town one of the main attractions of visiting the Lakes.

The Menaggio / Nobiallo area

In the small village of San Siro you will find a grocery store, a pizzeria, a restaurant and a bus stop. On shore of the lake there are water sports facilities (boat rental, sailing, surfing), and there are a number of scenic trekking routes that begin at the lake. Furthermore, San Siro is a pretty, antique hamlet where you can still feel the atmosphere of the ancient past and view the beautiful castle with arcades dating back to the year 1000.

By the way - the best way to reach the long lake is not by car but by boat. Ferries will take you across to the other small lakeside towns, villages and islands. The next stop is at Menaggio, only 5 km from your house. In Menaggio there is also a golf course and tennis court. Menaggio has all you need - restaurants, trattoria, alimentari, tabbachi and such. Como is located 30 km to the south. Elegance surrounds you in Como: straightforward architecture, elegant shops between the town wall and the promenade and stylish, wood-panelled cafés.

Furthermore, the town of Como is a worldwide leader in silk production. Even private customers will have the unique opportunity to buy material, scarves or ties directly from the manufacturers in Como. Como has a railway station where you can take a quick train ride to Milan. If you consider that Lake Como is actually situated pretty far north, you will be pleasantly surprised by the mild lakeside climate. Specially the west shore of Lake Como is famous for its mild climate and one of the most scenic lake shore promenades: There are vines growing beside the lake and several lakeside villas have lush palms and bamboo plants in their magnificent gardens...

“It's right on a busy road” They neglect to mention the only road round the lake goes right below that infinity pool. I had to put earplugs in just to read a book on the balcony. Motorcyclists love to race through the two... more

Service Charge

Our one & two weekly service charges are inclusive of final cleaning, bed linen, towels, heating, utilities & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis. (Please check Service Charge costs at time of enquiry)

3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff

Additional Facilities

We offer a range of extra facilities, which are available for hire through our office 'Happy Holiday Homes' in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Camp Bed – EU 85 per week, Wi-Fi or USB Internet Stick - EU 35 per week (includes EU 10 consumable credit). Please note that signal and connectivity is not guaranteed and may depend on the strength of the signal in your rental property.

Making a Booking

There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
