Splendid 1 bedroom apartment situated just a few minutes from Menaggio and the marina. With charming views of the central lake area and mountains, it easy to just sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere on the panoramic terrace leading off the lounge.
There is one double bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen, living room and a private garage. The public beach and the Lido di Menaggio is only 100m north of the apartment. Also very close by are some popular places to visit such as Villa Carlotta only 5km away, Villa Balbianello in Lenno (8km) and Bellagio (10 mins by ferry from Menaggio).

Menaggio / Nobiallo area
Nobiallo, a hamlet of Menaggio, is a small lakeside village in the territory of Como. A tourist resort appreciated for its picturesque landscape, it is encircled by the Lario Mountains, reaching in this area their maximum height and offering the most uncontaminated scenery. Nobiallo is a picturesque fishing village, which has developed round the pretty Parish Church of Saints Bartholomew and Nicholas. This building is characterised by the presence of an original leaning Romanesque bell tower dating back to the 13th century.
The village is crossed by the ancient Roman road Regina, which leads to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Peace, a religious complex built in 1659 to celebrate the Peace of the Pyrenees. This peace treaty put an end to the thirty-year war between the French and the Spanish, fought with dubious results also in this area, causing hardship and suffering to the local population.
Situated on the west bank of Lake Como, it is the main centre of upper Lario, for its position of transit with Lake Lugano. Embellished by the arcaded houses, the villas and gardens, visible on the lakeshore, it enjoys one of the most beautiful panoramas of the whole Lario area. Croce hamlet is also picturesque, while near Nobiallo, the "Lariani" mountains reach their maximum height.
Menaggio was already inhabited in the pre-historic age but it acquired strategic importance with the construction of the fortified wall in the middle ages. Then it became an important commercial junction and since the 19th century it has been a well-known tourist centre. Among its cultural heritage, we can highlight the ruins of the castle, which was destroyed in 1523, the parish of S. Stefano and the church of S. Marta.
There are numerous gastronomic specialities, such as lake fish, grilled Allis shad, "missoltini"(salted and sun dried Allis shad), "polenta uncia", "taragna" and "matalocch"(a kind of Milanese cake with candied and dried fruit). Local tradition includes the "enchantment of the wicker basket" and auction sales of local gastronomic products blessed during the main Sunday mass, which takes place three times a year. In the small village with its narrow streets there is no traffic.
ideal location for those who wants to enjoy a wide variety of excursions, including walking in the mountains or visit the famous villas in Tremezzo (Villa Carlotta), in Bellagio (Villa Melzi) and in Lenno (Villa del Balbianello). You can may even fancy your chances at the famous golf course.

We offer a range of facilities, which are available for hire through our office ‘Happy Holiday Homes’ in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Italian Mobile Phone - EU 15 per week, Mountain Bikes - EU 60 per week, Internet Access - EU 15 per week, Air Conditioning- EU 80 per week, (only if the property has an AirCon Unit and you would like to use it), Boat Mooring - EU 150 per week, (only if there is a boat mooring available at the rental property).
Payments by Credit/Debit Card & Wire Transfer. There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender.
To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
