About the home

The property is on two independent floors. Ideal for couples or relatives who would like to have a holiday together with a little bit of independence.

On the first floor: Bedroom with kith king size bed,bathroom with shower,room with double bed,living room,kitchen window opening up to the panoramic terrace. On the ground floor: bedroom with king size bed,kitchen,living room with sofa bed and possibility to eat outiside in the garden. Long stay are possible with a special discount.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region

The whole province of Como (which by the way includes the largest number of lakes in Italy ) finds its most typical expression in Lake Como which, whether one admires it from the shores along which lie small villages and majestic villas, surrounded by luxuriant parks and terraced gardens from the high mountains that surround it, is the most beautiful spot of the province.

Film directors have chosen this part of the province to shoot the romantic set of films like Star Wars and Casinò Royal. The actor George Clooney bought a Vllla in Laglio "Villa Oleandra" just 20 minutes by car far from Menaggio. You can see it also from a ferry that goes from Menaggio to Como.

The region is also near to Lugano in Swizerland a town worth visiting for its art galleries and luxurious shops.

The Menaggio / Loveno area

Menaggio is situated on the western shore of Lake Como. at the point where the road bordering the western side of the lake and the road leading through the Val Menaggio to Lugano meet.

Its central position makes Menaggio an important and lively town. The town consists of a centre and three hamlets - Croce, Loveno and Nobiallo - and has a total of about 3200 inhabitants.

You should visit Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi and Villa Balbianello where Star Wars was filmed as well as the latest James Bond film "Casinò Royal". Only 5 minutes by car (in Croce) there is one of the most historical golf courses in Europe.

“Beautiful viia with a lot of comfort” In mid-June 2011 we were vacationing in Menaggio on Lake Como . It was an unforgettable journey. Magnificent scenery and extraordinary beauty of the lake, heady air, filling our hearts joy. Our group consisted of 6 persons of all ages and all we used to relax with some comfort. Before departure, we booked a nice villa on www.holidaylettings.co.uk Arriving in Menaggio , our hosts meet us and took to the villa. It was wonderful! Such a convenient comfortable and beautiful vacation homes. A very convenient arrangement of rooms, from anywhere you can admire the spectacular views from private balcony. Thought out every detail in design and decorate rooms. Beautiful furniture creates a cozy and pleasing to the eye. Everything here breathes the desire to please the leisure traveler. A wide variety of beautiful dishes you will taste lay the table. As a rule, we dined on the large balcony overlooking the lake. In addition the villa surrounded by beautiful gardens. We are very grateful to the nice owners Laura and Sergio for the excellent organization of our holiday. The villa should rise about 20 minutes. If you do not like or can not walk , this problem is easily solved. Near the villa there is a bus stop. The second way that we used the taxi on the waterfront . Costs only 6 euros, that is a half-two euros when you 3-4. We will be sad to think of wonderful days in Menaggio. We recommend that all this beautiful villa. Tatyana Nikitina. USA

“Our Menaggio vacation at this lovely, comfortable vill in Loveno will always be a special memory.” A very comfortable, well equipped house on two separate levels.
