The village of Menaggio is a beautiful lakeside village with every possible amenity here from palm lined lake walks, award winning geletaria, boutiques selling famous italian brands , beach and lido with pool, plus all amenities such as fishmongers with filleted lake fish, delectable restaurants, bank, water ferry (just a 20 minute boat ride to Bellagio) as well as all major villages along the lake, villas, churches, piazza's and places of interest. Please ask for our personal recommendations. Switzerland, Milan and Ski resorts are all reachable in under 2 hours.However, if you are looking for a little rejuvination, sunshine and a haven for relaxation why not pull up a chair on the balcony, take in those magnificent views and toast your stay in Belverdere with a chilled glass of prosecco..Salute! Lake Como is the perfect retreat for rest and relaxation admist dramatic lake and mountain backdrop. The warm climate makes it an enticing place to visit to recharge one's batteries.
Pretty palm lined lakeside walks here in Menaggio, lazy lunches with fresh, regional cuisine, majestic villas to explore, beaches to unwind and authentic italian boutiques and deli's with service and attention to detail normally found in a bygone area. Menaggio is the ideal village to enjoy the lake atmosphere with everyhing here from the ferry stop reaching all parts of the lake to the beach, restaurants and prettu piazzas.
Be sure to visit the Alessandro Volta musuem Como (electricity) and La Scala Opera House Milan, the 14th century gothic cathederal in Como.
