About the home

This apartment is a piece of paradise with breathtaking views of Lago di Como throughout and so stylishly decorated with that you may find it hard to leave. Light filled and spacious with over 200 square meters on three floors, it also has a small private adjoining garden where you can eat or relax amongst the fruit, jasmine and olive trees just outside the living area. There are also two additional private terraces all with stunning views so you are always experiencing the special feeling of tranquillity of the Lake.

Situated just 5 minutes above the beautiful town of Menaggio on Lake Como in a small village called Loveno (which is a small undiscovered gem in its own right). Casa Paradiso has three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms including a master bedroom en suite with shower looking out to the Lake, a third WC, and all mod cons to make your stay memorable. It is part of a small group of houses and apartments (7 in total) that share a common driveway, security and a pool with 180 degree breathtaking views of the lake from Bellagio to Villa La Gaeta instantly recognisable from the Bond film Casino Royale.

The apartment stretches over 3 floors and measures approximately 200 square metres!
The living room has been beautifully designed in contemporary style with a large dining table, comfortable sofas, tv & dvd and patio doors to the balcony and panoramic lake views. The modern kitchen features a dishwasher whilst a washing machine is housed downstairs in the large garage.
The property features 3 bedrooms, 2 double and 1 twin room. The master bedroom enjoys a state of the art en suite bathroom with a modern shower complete with glass door for you to enjoy the lake as you wash as well as a w/c and bidet. The bedroom also benefits from arch shaped patio doors opening out onto the terrace for more spellbinding lake views. The 2nd and 3rd rooms feature another double and twin room all with ample wardrobe space. The bathroom includes bath, overhead shower, w/c and bidet. There is also a further separate w/c and wash basin.

If you value peace and tranquility Lake Como will delight and refresh in equal measure. The welcoming locals add to the ocassion, visit the bakery for baking from a seemingly bygone age or pop in for some tomatoes and rocket from the local fruit & veg man, and he will be happy to give you a few receipe tips! Think of the uk with the ugly bits taken out, majestic mountains, a mesmering world renowned lake,sprinkle in some balmy weather, seemingly happy and content local people, consistently good food & wine and you have an idea of the ingrdients that make Lake Como such a sought after holiday location!
Pretty piazzas, 14th century churches, ornately furnished parks, lidos and beaches, vivacious villas, lazy lunches and boat hire for a memorable day out are just are few examples of life here.
World renowned cuisine, the simple italian seasonal flavours are in evidence throughout the pretty village here in Menaggio from exquisite hotels to trattorias and cafes, all serving delicious regional cuisine. The lido in Menaggio is the perfect way to relax, the ferry accessible to most parts of the lake including Bellagio.
But remember, if a relaxing break with nothing more than a book and glass of wine is your idea of bliss, doing nothing much is a theme of lakeside living.
