Nice holiday complex. Above Menaggio, outside the resort, 3 km from the center, sunny position on a hill, 3 km from the lake. For shared use: grounds with lawn and trees, swimming pool (25 x 12 m, 01.05.-30.09.).

Outdoor shower. Tennis (01.05.-30.09.). Access to 50 m from the house. Stepped up to the house. Parking at 50 m. Shop 3 km, grocers 3 km, restaurant 3 km. Golf course 4 km, 8 km riding. Please note: car essential.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region

Situated in a valley surrounded by wooded mountains, Lake Como offers a landscape from various aspects. Along its shores alternate with pastures, woods, rough and imposing rocks, picturesque villages overlooking the water and beautiful villas with parks and gardens. The Central Lake, where they meet the three branches, is the point from the milder climate and the broader landscape, catching a boat you can enjoy a beautiful view over the promontory of Bellagio, overlooking the northern Grigna Valsassina and, in clear days, high on the waist, with the Alps in the background.

Lu the shores of the lake, in particular from Cernobbio to Gravesend, and Bellagio, you can admire the beautiful villas with parks full of flowers and exotic plants and rare. For instance, Villa d'Este in Cernobbio, which is today a luxurious hotel with a magnificent park, or the Villa Passalacqua Moltrasio, the splendid Villa Arconati at the tip of Balbianello in Lenno, which opens the series of famous villas of Tremezzo, among which Villa Carlotta, rich in works of art and natural attractions with its flowered park. On the other side, in Bellagio, shine as the other villas Serbelloni, became Grand Hotel and the Villa Melzi, adorned with a gorgeous botanical garden.

The Lecco branch offers a more rugged and picturesque, with the southern Grigna (2184 m.) Of dolomitic origin, and the Horns of Canzo (1373 m.), Descending to the lake, forming picturesque bays and inlets. Besides the views present in that branch of Lake Como turns "at noon", open apertures also natural, as the source of Fiumelatte, described by Leonardo da Vinci and the impressive gorge of Bellano, not far from the Renaissance Villa Monastero Varenna.

It is one of the most beautiful Italian landscapes, settled in 800 by the major poets of Romanticism, by Alessandro Manzoni, Stendhal, George Gordon Byron and Franz Liszt. It lies 199 m above sea level. It is the third Italian lake as a surface with 145 square kilometers and the first for perimeter development with 170 km.
He is active on a lake boat service line. The longer cruises are part in Como, leaving in the morning and return in the evening (possibility of parking in selected locations). The service runs for almost two centuries and is inserted fully into the very history of the area. It is still running the last paddle wheels, the Concordia, with the steam engine in sight.

The climate is continental in Lombardy, slightly tempered by the mass of lake water. Colder, however, of Lake Garda, has small differences from area to area. It is rigid in the Como branch (especially in the inner bank), is milder in the lake and along the eastern shore of Lecco.

The Menaggio / Loveno area

The City of Menaggio is situated in the central area of Lake Como, on the western shore, at the beginning of a broad valley connecting Menaggio on Lake Lugano. Already in the first 800 was first discovered by holiday makers, encouraged by its scenic qualities and a mild climate. At that period are the big hotels like the Victoria and luxurious villas like Villa Mylius Vigoni.

The country is made up of a center and urban point of three hamlets, Croce, Loveno and Nobiallo, and has about 3200 inhabitants. Thanks to its central location between lake and mountains, Menaggio is an ideal starting point for any type of trip: you can access by boat to the sumptuous villas of Lake Centre with their beautiful gardens, bus or by car you can go the numerous valleys with their rural settlements.

Menaggio boasts the presence of an exclusive 18-hole golf course, founded in 1907, and of a large Lido with a large beach, a 25 m long pool, a children's pool, bar and restaurant. The country also has a beach for public access, and numerous sports facilities. Children (and others) can have fun on the mini golf course site along the lake and a playground that is located in the heart of the country.

The winter offers sunny days and often along the lake you can enjoy a very pleasant temperature thanks to the reflection of sunlight on the water that moderates the climate, ideal for a stroll along the Old Queen Street. The slopes nearby, such as that of Mount Bregagno however, call for snowshoeing or skiing.
