When we arrived at the cottage we were very impressed with the furnishings and equipment provided. A hamper of local food was a very welcome extra touch to get our stay off to a good start. We were very impressed with the way the cottage has been renovated and is a very comfortable place for a vacation. It is in an excellent position for exploring the Scottish Borders and the nearest town of Melrose is about a 20mins walk away with a good selection of shops and restaurants. We would have no hesitation in returning here at a future date. |

A superb, well equipped, beautiful and comfortable property, immaculately clean, with the visitors' every need taken care of (it even has it's own garage!). The property is ideally situated, is a 5 minute drive from the centre of Melrose, a thriving little town, which has a variety of excellent pubs, restaurants and individual shops and is also ideally situated for visiting the many places of interest nearby and for great walks along the River Tweed. The owners are very friendly and could not be more helpful. |
