Two properties together, one is the Victorian Lodge and the other is a delightful Cottage with a total of 6 bedrooms to accommodate 11 people. There is a secluded garden area with outdoor furniture to enjoy the warm light evenings, as well as the facilities to enjoy a log fire from the lounge. It also enjoys a private aspect with views across the paddock to the woodland beyond.
At the entrance of the Lodge there are well kept grounds of Maxton House which enjoys its private garden and playground as well as outdoor catering. The holiday home also has entrance gates which can be secured and allow children to play freely within the grounds.

The Farne Islands lie two to three miles off the Northumberland coast midway between the fishing village of Seahouses and the magnificent Castle of Bamburgh. As well as being the most famous Sea Bird Sanctuary in the British Isles they also have a large colony of Atlantic or Grey Seals.
For beach lovers the costal areas include North Berwick, Dunbar, St Abbs, Coldingham and Eyemouth.
Lindisfarne (Holy Island)
Accessible via a three-mile causeway at low tide only, the island.
Stobbo Castle is an ideal location for papering beauty days.
