This modern 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom apartment is finished to a very high standard, measuring 240 sqm with 100sqm of patio space enjoying unobstructed ocean views on two sides. Walk out the front door and after decending a short flight of steps you will be swimming in the clear waters of the bay of Mellieha. A short walk to the west brings you to the largest beach in Malta. The complex has a large communal swimming pool overlooking the bay if you wish to cool down on a hot day or spending time in the 6 person private jacuzzi on the apartment patio.

The apartment living room has panoramic unobstructed ocean views along 270 degrees. The patio is equipped with a 6 person jacuzzi as well as patio furniture to enjoy breakfasts overlooking the ocean only a few metres away. The apartment is also equippped with central heat/air conditioning unit.
The kitchen is finished with large granite counter tops as well as a tempanaki grill for entertaining. While cooking you will have a spectacular view of the bay of Mellieha!
There are three bedrooms, 1 with two single beds, 2 with queen sized beds. There are 2.5 bathrooms, the main bathroom and en suite are equipped with jacuzzi tubs.

The apartment enjoys full access to a common area swimming pool as well as a private 6 person jacuzzi on the patio.
Water access to the bay is by a nearby stairway to the sea and path to the main beach.

A once weekly cleaning service is provided to the clients of the apartment. Housekeeping will be done on a mutually agreed day of the week. The cleaner will spend 4 hours per visit in the apartment. If clients wish additional housekeeping services they can be provided at 15 euros/hour.
Included in the rental rate is pick up at the airport by a driver, simply provide us with the details and we'll ensure the driver is there to meet you and bring you to the unit.
Conditions
*Note: The owner will supply a reasonable level of electricity included in the booking. A metered system is in place that will require card top up's if the level is exceeded. This reasonable level of electricity will let you enjoy your time in the apartment you during your stay, and would only be exceeded if the AC's and Jacuzzi are run carelessly. The apartment is equipped with 18,000 to 21,000 BTU AC units in each room they cool the rooms very quickly.

Several low cost airlines fly to Malta including Easy Jet, Raynair. Air Malta also has daily flights to a number of European cities, reservations can be made here www.airmalta.com. For the UK there are scheduled flights out of Heathrow and Gatwick as well as other UK cities. (Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Stanstead, Leeds and New Castle)
The public bus service is an excellent means of getting around Malta as is the rental of a moped or car. Public buses cover all major tourist areas and are quite economical to use. Bus trips from Mellieha will take between 20 to 30 minutes on average with the longest trips taking up to an hour.
Renting a car or moped is a good option for convenience... Mopeds allow for easy parking in areas where parking is difficult to find for a car and can be rented quite cheaply. All the road signs are in English and driving is on the left.
The trip from the airport to the property in Millieha takes around 40 minutes if you are familiar with Malta. We will provide for a driver (included in the rental package) to pick you up at the airport and ensure you are taken directly to the apartment and escorted to the unit to facilitate your arrival.

This was our second new year spent at this apartment and we have already booked up for this summer. That should tell you all you need to know. We have been coming to malta for over 40 years and this is by far the best place to stay. The apartment has everything you need and is of an excellent standard, the location couldnt be better, the view is fantastic and we cant wait till we come back in the summer. |

"We had a fab time at this apartment and was shocked at how large it is. The pictures do not do it justice. We had 4 young children and they had loads of room to run and play. The taxi was waiting for us and the driver was a great guy as are all taxi drivers on the island, they all give you an added history tour as well. Would highly recommend to any couple, group or family. Apparently Malta class May as being out of season slightly even though temperatures were in the high 20's. This suited us well as local places like the Aqua park and Popeye village were very quiet and without hundreds of tourists. For boat trips you must head down to the first beach at Mellieha Bay talk to the water sports guy, as he took us (4 adults and 4 kids) on a private boat trip to Comino island and the blue lagoon stopping in at and private beach and all the caves (which were amazing!) and was a steal at only 68 euros... well worth it to avoid getting onto a rammed boat with another hundred people."

The apartment was lovely – very spacious and well equipped. The location was great (and it seems to have prime position within the complex too). But I am not sure the complex itself is very child friendly. We didn’t have any issues at all, but the impression I got was that the complex was probably geared towards people wishing for a quiet time without children playing around them. Which I can understand (as I often wish for that myself). Having said that though the apartment was great for the children, and they can’t stop telling everyone about the hot tub.

We had a lovely time. The views from the apartment were just delightful. I'm really going to miss eating fresh crusty bread from George's Bakery, sitting in the sunshine on the terrace overlooking Mellieha Bay at breakfast time! In my view the apartment was better than many top rated hotels, it was immaculate throughout from the beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms to the large screened tv in the lounge and to cap it all open the French windows to a lovely patio with a jacuzzi .
The pool just outside the front door was a treat ,a beautiful gated location that I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone ,couple or family who wants to visit this historic island

In regards to the apartment and the Travel arrangements ....The Taxi was waiting at the Airport for us as planned and Geno the driver gave us a potted history of the Island as we drove to the Apartment, pointing out places of interest. We really needed a relaxing holiday after a busy year, and this apartment was perfect: Great views and location, superb modern apartment with plenty of space and all the home comforts plus Jacuzzis! Breakfast on the balcony with the wide and uninterrupted sea views was a wonderful start to every morning. The apartment is walking distance from Malta’s longest beach (Ghadira Bay) and within 20 minutes drive of all the best beaches in Malta (Golden Bay & Apple’s eye Bay, Armier Bay and Paradise Bay). With its own private garage accessible via lift, getting all our luggage into the apartment was easy. The property manager was very helpful and the welcome pack was also a very nice touch. Luna Market is only a 5 minute walk and had most of the supplies we needed. Great for couples or a family, definitely recommend it, and looking forward to going back.

We had a wonderful time. The pick-up at the airport was efficient and the apartment was very clean, spacious and well appointed with everything we needed at hand. The Tas Sellum Residences were quiet and the folks we met at the pool were each very friendly. Supplies of food, water and wine were easyly obtained from the Luna mini-market. The walk up the hill to the main village to get fresh meat, fish, etc was a bit arduous but we soon found the bus stop at the end of the road. Melliha beach is probably the best beach in Malta for small kids as it's has clean soft sand, it's very shallow and the swimming areas are well isolated from other water activities. Melliha is probably not the place to go if you're looking for 'night-life' - which we weren't. Getting into 'town' is relatively easy but getting back late can be costly. In summary, a great place to put your feet up, pop a cold one and relax.

I honestly believe this is the best rental unit on the entire island of Malta! We have a stunning view of Mallieha Bay out of several windows, due to the corner position in the building, plus two covered porches with this view. We had a large, private outside deck with our own hot tub. The apartment was very well furnished with all the latest, and fully stocked in the kitchen. Bedrooms were large and all air conditioned. Just outside the door to the apartment were the steps leading down to swimming in the bay, and just around the corner of that same door was the large outdoor swimming pool. Could not be better!. Having our own garage with elevator access made parking a snap, and a private gate to the building was an added plus. Overall, our accommodations could not have been better! Fabulous apartment with facilities to match! Tas Sellum had everything we could want for a relaxing holiday with the added glamour of first rate amenities to make our stay that bit more special. The hot tub / jacuzzi on the balcony topped it off for us!

We spent the most fabulous 7 days at Tas Sellum. We have traveled all over the world, but this week was by far our most enjoyable holiday. We did not wish to leave when the week ended. The apartment at Tas Sellum is absolutely beautiful! Every thing that we could have possibly needed to feel at home was provided and in order when we arrived. It is furnished so wonderful, and the rooms are large and spacious while also comfortable. It is perfect for a family or couples holiday. The views from the 3 patios are breath taking, and there is always some thing to watch from them, from the large ships passing Mallieha Bay, to the local fisherman making their way to the sea daily. The fantastic hot tub located on one of them was the finishing touch for relaxing while also enjoying the sea.
Tas Sellum is located in a great area that is quiet and peaceful, but only a few minutes walk into the lovely and friendly village of Mallieha, and just a short drive to so much interesting history it is unbelievable.
Everyone that was associated with Tas Sellum was excellent in making sure if there was any thing or service that we required during our stay, was helped arranged for very quickly.
We look forward to a future time that we may return to beautiful Tas Sellum, and the wonderful island of Malta and recommend Tas Sellum to everyone.

1. Cancellations are only accepted in writing. Deposits are not refundable and the outstanding
balance must be settled in 42 days prior to check in arrival date. Failure to pay the balance due for
the rental in time will automatically release the property for rental.
2. Insurance: It is advisable to have travel insurance, in case you have to cancel your holiday or
anything you may need to claim whilst on holiday.
3. The owner will not be responsible whatsoever for any injuries, healthcare, accident
weather minor or serious, whilst at the property or outside of the property during your stay. .
Prices quoted are for the entire apartment with a maximum occupancy of 6 people.
1. A 30% deposit will secure your booking.
2. Balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival date.
3. Payments can easily be made by bank transfer to our Maltese or Canadian accounts via paypal.
4. All bills are paid for during short lets. Water and Electricity will be charged for long lets.
5. Key collection and drop-off on arrival in Malta.
6. Check out time 11.00am and check in after 1600Hrs (luggage can be dropped off any time after mid day)
7. A security deposit of 750gbp will be taken no later than week prior to occupancy, and will be returned the day of departure if via paypal, or within 5 business days if via bank transfer.
NOTE:
Credit Card details will be taken as a gurantee of damage depost with signed contract covering duration of occpancy. Any damages will be billed to card holder as per rental contract agreement. An apartment walk through will be conducted at the start and end of each letting period signed by the owners representative and the client confirming
