Villa Lyss Apartment is located in the tranquil and peaceful location in the village of Mellieha found in the northern part of Malta. This stylish apartments is set within an exclusive privately owned Villa residence perched on a hilltop. The tastefully decorated apartment has 2 bedrooms, and shares a larger than average pool of 45' x 15', surrounded by a large sundeck area decorated with palm trees and shrubs which add a relaxed feeling together with sun loungers and parasols to compliment the area around the pool.

Mellieha / Santa Maria Estate area

Want to break away from holidaying hoards and get to the heart of Malta? Try Mellieha. This hilltop hamlet may share a street and a name with Mellieha Bay, but it's about 2km inland.

A sleepy atmosphere. A small, picturesque centre. A people famed for their pragmatism, independence and friendly welcome. Mellieha has a distinctly rural charm.

Scout about the centre's church, complete with underground grotto. Crawl back fifty years in the famous World War II shelters and see how the Maltese people earned that George Cross. The Xemxija Heritage Route has everything from Roman roads to megaliths – or for some recent history, visit the 8 tons of nails and 2000 gallons of paint that make up the set of Popeye the Movie's Sweethaven.

To reach Malta's longest sandy beach, simply take the road through the centre of town down to Mellieha Bay and head to Ghadira Beach. Sun, sand and watersports – what more does a beach need?

Eating out isn't an issue. International and local cuisine, familiar and fascinating food are all on the menu. Be warned however, our apartment is so cosy you may never want to step outside!!!!

Flights to Malta
Flight time to Malta's International Airport from London airports is just 3-3½ hours. Other UK airports will be roughly 30 minutes longer. Malta is also served by numerous other large European airports and is very well connected.

There is ample space for parking outside the villa for those who wish to have a car. Wheelchairs are also accessible to this property with ramps to the apartments and pool area. The swimming Pool has shower and WCs facilities with plenty of sun loungers which you do not need to fight for as well as your own shade umbrellas.
