The bungalow has a very comfortable layout that can only be achieved from a bungalow were every thing comes on one level and a big plus to a completely private pool and large sundeck and patios which leads to beautiful country views For guest with young children the pool area can be safely be locked while one can still use other patios and garden for barbecue without the extra pool worry.
A fully equipped oak kitchen with all necessary equipment that leads to an open plane sitting and dining room with Indian oak furniture and a eight seater leather sofa with air-condition that covers sitting and dining room a 32 inch TV plus DVD, video and satellite on the other side of the bungalow one will find four double bedrooms all with ceiling fans and one with air-conditioner main bathroom and one unsuit two bedrooms looking over the pool and two other bedrooms with patios doors that leads to outside verandas with panoramic country views.

Very few countries of Malta's size are so rich in history,. A succession of civilizations and cultures has ensured this history and is part of what makes Malta the popular tourist destination it is today. Mellieha is one of Malta's most picturesque tourist destinations. The town centre boasts splendid hotels, many restaurants and traditional shops for the most discerning shopper.
Mellieha's main festive season occurs in the first two weeks of September, during which many cultural events are held. The town's archaeological and historical heritage provides a perfect backdrop for a fantastic holiday experience.
The Mellieha / Santa Maria Estate area
The Bungalow is situated in the northwestern part of Malta in the exclusive and idyllic limits of Mellieha.
Mellieha is one of Malta's most picturesque villages surrounded by fertile valleys and has breathtaking views of the lush countryside and the crystal clear Mediterranean blue sea. The four bedroom bungalow has two bedrooms with patios facing the country views and other two looking over the pool area.
The village is 10 minutes drive to the north from the Gozo ferry terminal where one can board the shuttle ships to visit Malta's sister islands Gozo and Comino. Set on elevated grounds the bungalow enjoys panoramic country views and valley of Mellieha.
Whilst enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the area, the Bungalow lies only within 15 minutes walking distance from the nearest supermarket and the shopping centre of Mellieha village where international banking services are also available.

There are quite a few airlines that fly to Malta, some of which are Rayan Air, British Airways, Easyjet & Airmalta. When you come out of Luqa Airport, follow the signs to Gozo Ferry all the way north. Go past St.Paul's Bay and Xemxija Hill, Keep following the signs to Gozo or Mellieha ( Mellieha is the last village before boarding the ferry to our sister Iland Gozo. When you go up from Xemxija to Mellieha there is a winding hill at the top of it there is a big roundabout. Go round the roundabout & keep on the main road from the roundabout and on your right hand side there is a petrol station were I meet you up and take you to the villa .

This is a spacious 4 bed villa. it is in a quiet estate 10 minutes walk to the main melliha village. its a 5 minute walk (partially uphill) to the local supermarkert, bakery and closest bar / restaurant. the bus stop is at the edge of the estate - 5 mins walk so all in all in a great location and easily accessible. the uphill section is a steady incline but not too steep and once you are not walking in the midday sun should be fine. the villa itself was fantastic. 4 double bedrooms, 1 ensuite and 2 bathrooms inside as well as a toilet and shower out at the pool. large fridge and freezer to stock up and be able to keep drinks chilled easily. wifi also available in it. the pool is large and had steps in from one side. the only downside is it gets steep very quickly if you have weak or non swimmers in your party. but also has lilos and small dinghy which we used beside loungers for the toddler so it worked out really well. well worth walking up to the bakery every morning for fresh bread, the maltease bread is gorgeus!! and lots of nice restaurants in the village. the hill top was lovely try their hilltop pizza..gorgeous! only 20 mins to gozo ferry and main bus line to valletta and sliema etc the villa is in a great location and well worth a visit, thanks Charles you have a lovely home ! |

Chill out. Make the most of the pool and the barbecue, but don't forget to move around and sight-see. Malta has so much to offer, whether for families or couples, sightseers or sun worshippers. Rosevale is a great base to work from and chill out in, but be careful of the midday sun. Charles and Julia are very gracious hosts, always on hand if needed. |

Our family (including two children aged 6 months and 2 years) stayed in this villa in November. The villa is very large and spacious with good furnishings throughout. The photos do not do it justice! The pool was bigger than I expected, and the pool and outdoor area is completely private (not overlooked) and had a BBQ as well. Surrounding the villa is a delightful verandah with unspoilt views across the countryside to the Selmun Palace. The villa is in a great location for trips to the beaches, PopEye village and Gozo, walking in the countryside, and is not far from a good supermarket and some restaurants, takeaways and pub. It is situated on the edge of a non-touristy upmarket estate of detached houses overlooking the countryside. It also has its own driveway in which to park your rental car. Mr Borg was also very friendly and helpful, meeting us at the airport and making sure we arrived at the villa safely. I cannot recommend this villa enough - we hope to come back here someday.
