The apartment is in a perfect location with a large terrace overlooking the pool and the open sea views beyond, and is fully A/C'd. Its right by the sea and a 10 minute walk to the largest sandy beach on Malta: Ghadira Bay. The development is an exclusive haven of tranquility ideal for a relaxing holiday. Facilities available nearby include a full range of water sports: water skiing, sailing, wind surfing, snorkelling and scuba diving. The sandy beach is ideal for children with a long gradual decline. Nearby other facilities include Popeye's Village (used in the filming of the movie) and horse riding. There are many restaurants, bars and shops in the nearby villages of Mellieha and Bugibba. The Island of Malta region
Malta is steeped in history, from the pre-historic temples which can be found in many places on Malta, through Roman and Arab times, to the Knights of St John who built the fabulous defences around the Grand Harbour in Valletta. Mdina in the centre of the island is well worth a visit as it is still a walled city, build orginally by Romans and extended later by Arabs. The weather is always hot and sunny through the summer from May/June until September/October. There are a number of sandy beaches, the best being at Ghadira (mellieha), Golden Bay, Paradise Bay and Ramla Bay in Gozo.
Mellieha / Tas Sellum area
Within 10 minutes walk of the apartment is Ghadira Bay. This is the longest sandy beach in Malta which is suitable for children with the gradual decline of the beach in the sea. Nearby is Popeye's Village used for the filming of the movie starring Robin Williams (5 mins drive). The Ferry to Gozo (10 mins drive). Marine Park with "Swimming with the Dolphins" and Splash 'N Fun water park (30 mins drive). Malta is probably the top destination for scuba diving in the mediterranean, with excellent wreck and cave diving available.

Further details indoors: The main bedroom has a large double bed with an extremely comfortable memory foam mattress ideal for back sufferers or anyone who enjoys a really comfortable good night's sleep. The curtains have black out lining to ensure your sleep is not disturbed by the blazing morning sunshine until you are ready to get up. The room has lots of storage space in wardrobes and a large chest of drawers. It also benefits from a large en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom contains two single beds also with extremely comfortable mattresses and a wardrobe with drawers under. The living room is huge and opens out to a large terrace with stunning views over the pool and Mediterranean sea beyond. The kitchen and dining area have all mod cons and are of the finest quality as is all the furniture in the apartment. No expense has been spared in preparing this place for your visit.
Further details outdoors: Large outdoor pool surrounded by a large sunbathing area, with steps down to the sea. The gardens are well maintained and include palm trees and olive trees. Village of Mellieha is nearby and includes many bars, restaurants and shops. Bus terminus providing access to all the island is about a 10 minute walk. Many other beaches are within a 10-15 minute drive. Ferry to Gozo is a 10 minute drive. Capital City of Valletta is a 40 minute drive Marine park with facilities to swim with the Dolphins and Splash 'N Fun water park 30 minute drive.
