The Island of Malta region
The villa is close to many sandy beaches (15 min by car) including the popular Mellieha Bay, Golden Bay and the most picturesque beach on the island, Paradise Bay. There are plenty of snack bars and cafes as well as some spots to indulge in some water fun - you can hire a pedalo, try parasailing, snorkelling or swim out in the stunning Mediterranean Sea.

Malta loves to celebrate and sparkle. Every weekend, from June to September, "festi" are part and parcel of the Maltese Summer. A great deal of planning and preparation goes into making the festa an event the entire village is proud of. The celebrations are a superb spectacle of colour and life. Later on comes the highlight of the evening - a superb firework display, which creates a magical extravaganza. The local Village festa of The Nativity of Our Lady is on the 8 September. The feast is a national public holiday.
