The Island of Malta region

The climate - Malta has a superb climate, the sun shines almost all year round, with temperatures reaching above 30 degrees in summer and never falling below 15 degrees in winter!

History - The Maltese islands have been touched by the most influential ancient cultures. What makes them so unique is that their history unfolds before your eyes at every corner, from ancient ruins, and cart ruts to Forts and Palaces; there is something to please everyone.

From Mellieha you can get the Ferry and step back in time to Gozo, one of Malta's sister islands or Comino which is one of the few remaining unspoilt islands in the Mediterranean Sea.

Mellieha / Santa Maria Estate area

Mellieha is situated in the North of Malta and is approximately 30 minutes from the airport. It lies on top of a hill within a classic, authentic Maltese Village with views of the bay below. Mellieha Bay is one of Malta's best sandy beaches and is the biggest on the island at 1.5km long with crystal clear waters and a host of watersports and beach restaurants.

The village of Mellieha has a number of bars, restaurants, entertainment and shopping facilities from traditional bakery to souveneir shops.

On the first floor there are two twin rooms, large bathroom with double shower, large open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. There is also a washing machine and iron available to use.

A spiral staircase leads to the second floor and the master, double bedroom (with King Size bed) and en-suite bathroom.

There are balconies to the lower floor bedrooms and kitchen, and the large private roof terrace is accessed from the upstairs master bedroom or landing area. One of the bedrooms on the ground floor has a walk in wardrobe.

Ground floor bedrooms have a balcony.

The Front of the property has views of countryside and the Mediterranean Sea while the rear of the property overlooks the peaceful and exclusive residential area of Santa Maria Valley and Mellieha Beach. Private roof terrace has BBQ facilities and patio furniture (a second fridge is provided upstairs). Also area to dry washing.

There are no supplement charges. There is an additional charge for electricity and air conditioning (used by pre-paid cards which can be purchased on arrival.Will be 25 Euros per card.).

A telephone is also available and is operated by Easy Line cards which can be purchased from many shops around Malta.

There are marble stairs leading from the front door to the main area of the property. There is also a spiral staircase leading to the second floor bedroom/bathroom and roof terrace. Stairs may be difficult for people with mobility problems.

Smoking is allowed on balconies and terrace area.
Property is not wheelchair accessible.

Property has marble and wooden floors. There is marble on the stairs and a spiral staircase. May be problematic for people with mobility difficulties/small children.

In the lounge there is a TV, DVD and ps2 you will have to get your own games and memory card and DVDs, there is a hire shop for DVDs and PS games. Please look after these items because you are responsible during your stay thank you.
