Santa Maria villa apartments is situated in one of the most Tranquil areas of Mellieha whilst still being in easy reach of all the resort amenities. The 2 bedroomed apartments and 2 -one bedroomed apartments has the facility of the shared pool of this villa.
These fully equipped for a self catering holiday with either twin or double beds, kitchen with dining/lounge area and 1 bathroom & shower toilet en suite for the 2-bedroom apt. Each apartment has its own front sun patio with garden furniture and a bbq . The apartments is part of a fully detached villa where the owners live on the upper level and they are totally independent to the apartment themselves.

Swimming in Malta is completely safe and our Waters are literally Crystal Clear, beach facilities include, sun beds, umbrellas, bar & Restaurants, showers and changing rooms. On most beaches you will also find various Water sports, such as Jet skies, surfboards, paddling boats, kayaks and more…
Malta’s general Hosipital is St. Lukes Hospital in Guardamangia, however besides St. Lukes one can also find a further 3 main private Hospitals. Furthermore one can find various Medical Clinics in every district.
Shops are usually opened from 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs and 1600 hrs to 1900 hrs. However in most touristic areas shop stay open throughout the day and stay open until 2200 hrs. The main shopping areas may be found in Valletta and Sliema. All major credit cards are accepted at most leading shops and restaurants.

LOCATION At Santa Maria Estate 1 Bedroom Apartments (Sleeps 2) These well maintained apartments are situated in one of the most tranquil areas of Mellieha known as Santa Maria Estate, surrounding with residential villas. Most of these apartments enjoys beautiful views, consists of a double bed, with shower cubicle, bath and WC. Kitchen combined with living and dining area. fans, TV, safe deposit box, iron, iron board, cooker, four ring stove, oven and grill, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, all with either terrace or balcony. Served by lift. The apartments are spacious enough to sleep 2 adults and 1 small child sharing. 10 minutes pleasant walk to the Main Road for bus stops, and proceeds to shops, supermarkets, chemists , banks & other attractive sites.the terrace or balcony and including their own garden/patio furniture. The pool measures 8 meters x 4 meters with surrounding bathing area. Some of the apartments have a pool view from their balcony whilst others have an open front view. here are two ways to get to Malta, either by Air or by Sea. From any Country in Europe you can come to Malta by Air, which on average would take no longer then 3 hours. There are direct flights from all major European cities to and from Malta everyday. Whilst coming to Malta by sea you may either come with a Ferry ship from Salerno (Naples) direct to Malta (Approx 16 hours) or either from Sicily on a high speed catamaran (Approx 3-4 hours).
Scheduled flights are operated by: Airmalta, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Tuninter, Egyptair, Balkan Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Emirates Airlines.

'Santa Maria Villa & Merrill Apartments Melleiha' Review Rating: 5/5 Review Text: 'As I am in a wheelchair we were rather worried about the suitability of booking an apartment abroad but the owners assured us it would be ideal, and it was. The owners were so kind & helpful but not at all intrusive. The property was very clean and well maintained. On the one evening when we had a terrific rain storm and water flooded everywhere, they quickly cleaned up.Nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartments are in a lively town but set back from the hustle 'n' bustle so you get a peacful nights sleep. There are so many places to see & things to do that after such a great holiday in 2006 we returned in 2007 to the Merrill Apartments. The owners are so caring and helpful, the apartments clean and bright, the weather superb, the locals so friendly, the food's great and plenty to do and see IF you've got transport or just laze on the beach: what more do you want on holiday? Malta here we come again!
"Returning to Santa Maria Villa this year, we had a lovely surprise: the owners had constructed a swimming pool on the ground floor level with steps, as well as ladders, so disabled people can use it. With help, I managed. Sheer bliss! There had also been renovations to all the patio areas. As expected, the property was very clean and well maintainted. The villa apartments are in a very quiet residential area of Melleiha yet are close to the bustling lively town. The owners ensure that everything is alright but are not intrusive. If you do require anything, they are more than happy to oblige, whether it be an extra pillow, help or information. My only complaint this year were the mosquitoes, but the owners can't be held responsible for them!!! This year we did the round the island day cruise which I'd highly recommend. We also managed to travel much further afield, to places such as Marscasala and Marsaxlokk which was superb. Unfortunately, one or two of our favourite eating places had closed or reduced their opening hours.......the credit crunch has even reached Malta! Other than that, I'd recommed any of these properties and Malta to anyone. You either love it or............................ Thanks again Mr & Mrs S for a terrific place to stay and thus, making our holiday so relaxing, peaceful & everything a great holiday should be."
