The living room 3 two 3 seater and 1 three seater leather sofas, a 32" LCD Television, DVD, Cable Television, CD Player, coffee tables and lamp. The dining area is fitted out with solid ash furniture consisting of extendible dining table, 6 chairs, side board and well stocked book case.
The kitchen is fully fitted with units constructed by a Carpenter from the neighbouring island of Gozo. The major appliances found in the kitchen are a double oven, halogen hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave oven. The smaller appliances include kettle, toaster, coffee maker, etc. The cupboards contain an extensive collection of cooking utensils, glassware and crockery.
All the bedroom furniture is of solid pine and each room is air-conditioned, and has an LCD TV, DVD player, bedside touch lamps, telephone and safe.
The master bedroom has a double bed, 2 bedside cabinets, 7 drawer chest, large wardrobe and blanket box. The room also has its own independent Cable TV Service and benefits from an en-suite bathroom and its own small balcony.
Bedroom 2 has twin single beds, 2 bedside cabinets, 7 drawer chest, wardrobe and blanket box. The room and benefits from an en-suite shower room and its own small balcony.
Bedroom 3 has twin single beds, 2 bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Bedroom does not have a balcony just a normal window making it an excellent bedroom for children.

The front balcony has views across the shared swimming pool and out to Ghardira Bay with Malta's longest sandy beach and the Red Tower perched on the hill side across the bay. The balcony is big enough to accommodate the large drop leaf table and 6 patio chairs.
Two of the three bedrooms have their own small balconies and 2 seater Bistro sets and overlook the landscaped gardens.
There also fold up chairs and sun loungers which can be taken down and used around the pool.
Prices quoted are per week and in UK Sterling. Minimum rental period is 7 days.
Where the rental period crosses price bands it is calculated on a pro rata basis based on the dates falling into each band.
Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days to enable travel arrangements to be made. A 20% deposit will secure the booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
There is also a £300.00 accident deposit payable with the balance - which will be refunded within 14 days of departure once our agent in Malta has confirmed the apartment has been left in a reasonable condition.
Price includes a food pack on arrival, sufficient air-conditioning to cool the bedrooms at night (additional a/c credit can be purchased), E5.00 pre paid card for the apartment telephone, use of Adult Bathrobes and Beach Towels and a complimentary wash-bag (containing Shampoo, Shower Gel, Toothbrush, Toothpaste etc) per bathroom.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation we will attempt to re-let the property, possibly using a special offer promotion. In the event that we are successful we will refund any monies already paid to us, less any shortfall we may incur on the re-letting.
The Island of Malta region
The Maltese Islands are located south of Sicily almost in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Ruled by Britain until independence in the 1960s, English is widely spoken, driving is on the left hand side of the road and electrical appliances use the same 3 pin plugs as in the UK.
Summers are hot and dry and the Winters mild.
Malta has a long and varied history and there is plenty to see during your stay.
Just 20 minutes stroll from the apartment is Malta's longest sandy beach where Umbrellas and Sunbeds can be rented and various water-sports engaged in. Along the coast road can be found a supermarket and various places to eat.
The village of Mellieha is found up a very steep hill - but a regular local bus service means that it does not have be walked. In the village there are a good selection of eateries, including Chinese Restaurants, Supermarkets, Fishmonger, Butchers, Banks and Pharmacies. One of the Supermarkets will deliver your shopping free of charge providing you do it before 13:00.

"A comfortable and very well equipped apartment"
We have recently returned from a 7 night stay at “Dar il-Hena” 1133 Tas Sellum and found it to be an extremely comfortable base for exploring the island of Malta. The apartment is very spacious, especially all the bedrooms and is furnished to a high standard. The kitchen has every home from home utensil, which enabled us to prepare and have meals in when we wanted to.
The swimming pool was very well maintained, looking clean with crystal clear water every day. A little chilly to get into, although you soon got used to it...but hey we are talking early May!
A real bonus for us was having use of the secure garage. This enabled us to drive into the apartment complex with our elderly Mother, then directly using the lift to enter the apartment. Anyone with restricted mobility will find this invaluable as the access roads to the Tas Sellum Residence are quite steep.
We took the ferry to Gozo and had a great day out. The weather was excellent and the crossing nice and calm. We choose to tour the island on one of the open top buses, which enables you to hop on and off at your leisure. When we reached Xlendi we decided to have lunch and spotted “The Boat House” which is a restaurant situated on the water's edge and was one recommended by Kevin...an excellent meal with great service was had by all.

"Great holiday apartment !"
This apartment is beautiful, equiped to the highest standard. The apartment is very large with lots of space, all furniture is very comfortable. The welcome pack was extensive, and each bedroom was supplied with a lovely toiletry bag, so that guests had everything they needed for their stay.The TV had multiple stations and the WIFI internet worked very well.
The location on Mellieha Bay is perfect for relaxing on the spacious balcony overlooking the bay, strolling along the beach front, and visitng the area. Although the bus service will take you all over the island, we rented a car for our 3 week stay. We enjoyed daily outings to all the amazing sites on the island, including Valletta and taking the ferry to Gozo.
We hope to return again in the near future. Thanks Kevin for a wonderful holiday!
