Here, you'll only find the best of everything – Blue tooth sound system and media player and artwork by Bromley, Blackman, Petyarre and NY street artist 'Hush' among others.

The location is second to none, situated just meters from the Yarra River, Victoria St dining precinct and close to the MCG, AAMI Stadium and Rod Laver Arena, home of the Australian Open. The Victoria, Australia region

Living Local Abbotsford/Richmond

Abbotsford & Richmond have it all, great proximity to the CBD yet close to the serenity of the Yarra River and the fresh air of the country. There is a hip café scene plus a number of great bars and restaurants, many serving superb Asian cuisine.

Despite the great city features, Abbotsford maintains a village vibe, where locals chat in the street, and shop at the local markets and families can enjoy the countryside at the Collingwood Children's Farm.

Local Cuisine

Discover hundreds of eating option on Victoria St, from takeaway and casual lunches to fine dining. This area is paradise for Asian food lovers. Definitely worth a visit is the hip Seoul Soul, serving cheap yet delicious Korean food. Or try a Thai ice tea and family-made Thai cuisine at Ying Thai.

Village Vibe

Abbotsford is an Inner City Suburb with a village vibe, a hidden gem located near the secluded and beautiful Yarra river. A short walk from the Collingwood Children's Farm is Dights Falls, a popular spot for picnics and kayaking. Purchase a wide variety of fresh local produce at the Farmers Market.

Café Life

The hipster café scene makes a chilled contribution to Abbotsford`s atmosphere. Locals love to refuel at the old Denton Mill hat factory, now occupied by Three Bags Full. This café offers eclectic design and great flavours. Also worth a visit and a coffee with character is the Bomb Cafe on Johnston Street.

Must See

Check out little Audrey the Skipping Girl Vinegar Sign, Australia´s first animated neon sign. Visit the historic building of the convent which is a cultural hub, here you´ll find live music performances, theatre, a gallery, markets, bar, bakery, café and an organic pay-as-you-feel restaurant.

"Unexpected pleasure"

First impressions were not great - grimy inner city street with crows eating from overflowing bins outside, but once we stepped in the door we were greeted with an extremely well appointed house with all the mod cons. Tram at end of the road had us in the city in 10 mins (and the owners helped organise travel cards as we were coming fro interstate, which was vey useful). Great café round the corner was a breakfast staple, and lots of Asian restaurants for evening meals meant we never had to use the kitchen in earnest, but everything was supplied should you wish to cook for yourself.

Dear Adele,

Thank-you for taking the time to review us especially as this is your first review on AirBnB.
We do appreciate bin night does make any street look unsightly however we are thrilled you found that the house exceeded your expectations. Arthouse truly does keep-in theme with Melbourne's hidden gem reputation.

I completely agree about the local eateries. Each suburb of Melbourne has its unique food personality and Abbotsford edge is all about amazing Asian cuisine.

Thank-you again for staying with us and should you see yourself in Melbourne in the future, please look us up, it would be a pleasure to have you stay with us again.

Kind regards

"A great house close to City, with lots of space"

The Arthouse is a really well renovated terrace house that gave our family a great sanctuary near the City. The large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area connected well into the outside courtyar… More

Thanks so much for taking the time to review ArtHouse. We hope you will stay with us again.
