The Victoria, Australia region

St Kilda is an attractive beachside suburb about 4km away from the CBD. There is a popular Esplanade along the foreshore where you can go for a walk or bike ride. You can also hire roller blades from a nearby shop and go skating

along the beach. Various adventure sports and activities are available on the beach, such as

kite boarding, surfing and sky diving. It is worth wandering up to the St Kilda Pier and visiting

the gym, swimming pool and rooftop deck at the St Kilda Sea Baths. You may also catch a

glimpse of some fairy penguins.

Melbourne

There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants along Acland St and Fitzroy St, including the

famous Esplanade Hotel (Espy) which frequently hosts live bands. You can also catch a

concert at the Palais Theatre, or take a ride on the Scenic Railway (the world's oldest

continually operating roller coaster) at Luna Park, a charming old-fashioned theme park next to the beach.
