"Peaceful, spacious and all the comforts of home -with a log fire!"
We had a great week here just recharging our batteries and spending time with our 5 month Labrador pup. a variety of walks from the front door kept up our exercise and the enclosed garden was a boon for puppy freedom. Would return anytime!

"Islabank farmhouse is a perfect, home from home!"
We really enjoyed our 3 weeks in Islabank farmhouse. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated to a high standard. And we loved the paintings and other wall decorations. We felt home the moment we arrived. The house is nicely located in a rural area, the cows are never far away! We were very lucky with the weather, so we enjoyed the large garden. The kitchen was very well equipped and very cosy. We spend many hours in it, cooking eating, reading and playing cards. The 3 bedrooms were very nice, with comfortable beds and enough storage place. The large bathroom ( there are 3 bathroom/shower rooms) we loved the most. So much space, a lovely bath, and a spacious shower . In the evenings we enjoyed the livingroom, provided with relaxing sofas. The open fire place was provided with logs, and a couple of evenings we enjoyed the warmth of the fire./ With 3 pubers the wifi connection was indispensable! Katie, the owner , was very friendly and helpful. A few things like the discovery of a wasp nest she solved the same day, something we really appreciated. Perthshire and the highlands are so beautiful and unique! We visited many places, castles, villages, the coast, glenns, Lochness, distilleries and lots more. Even after 3 weeks we easily found new destinations. We absolutely would recommend this location, for young and old, and we hope to return someday!

Within easy reach of many places of interest for a day out in the big tree country. Great to have so many loos, no need to queue in this house ;-) Welcoming, home from home with everything you need for comfortable and relaxing holiday.

"Excellent home from home accommodation, the house has a very homely feel to it."
We spent a lovely family Christmas at Islabank. The house was superbly appointed, the location was to die for, and the surrounding countryside was very scenic. We loved exploring the farm and the fields around it and would have loved to try the fishing had time been on our side. As 'townies' we were very impressed with the star filled skies, and the abundance of wild animals. The house was very clean, comfortable beds, and a very well stocked kitchen. The fact that there were 3 bathrooms was a bonus and a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor made easy access for an elderly mother.Thank you very much to Katie for her kind hospitality.

"Excellent accommodation and fabulous location"
There was 6 adults, 2 dogs and a todder in our party staying here for New Year 2011/12. The accommodation is brilliant - very clean and spacious. The location is stunning and in a prime spot to visit the surrounding areas. The garden is very secure and huge - our toddler loved exploring it. I cannot find fault in this first class rental. We will definetly be returning.

"Islabank Farmhouse is perfect in every way!"
My two friends and I rent Islabank Farmhouse every year for two weeks and we plan to do so indefinitely because we love everything about about Islabank Farmhouse! Islabank Farmhouse is very tastefully decorated and furnished with everything needed to make our stays extremely comfortable. Islabank Farmhouse has a great kitchen, so we prepare many of our own meals. Islabank Farmhouse has three large bedrooms and three modern full bathrooms, so we each have our own bedroom and bathroom. Islabank Farmhouse is located close to several picturesque Scottish villages which have excellent places eat.
