About the home

The apartment is in a quieter attractive area of Medulin but only 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach, restaurant, harbour and shops. The sea with very pleasant waterfront is only 0.50kms from the apartment. The large balcony is fully equipped with table, chairs and parasol ideal for use from breakfast to sundown.

The spacious modern apartment is fully and comfortably equipped for 4 people. It has a large open-plan kitchen/dining and lounge area with airconditioning and satelite TV. There is a large bedroom with twin beds which can be pushed together as necessary! and a fully tiled shower room. The apartment also has central heating for winter lets.

The apartment is approached via electonic gates and each apartment has a private garage making it very secure for storage of cars, rented bikes or other equipment.

The apartment is suitable for holidays all year round.

The Istria region

Medulin is at the tip of Istria giving easy access to the whole of the area. There are numerous visits you can make depending on your interests here are just a few:-

the hilltop villages of Hum, Motovun,Buzet and Grosnjan
Rovinj and Porec - beautiful Italianate coastal towns with lovely harbours and meandering medieval old towns
Brijuni National park - especially beautiful out of high seson
A boat trip to the Lim Fjord including a fish picnic
A day trip to Venice on a high speed catamaran
Slovenia - coast or inland
Plitvice lakes National park

The Medulin area

Medulin is a vibrant holiday destination in July and August, it is less busy outside these months for those who prefer it, with the main summer season stretching from May to the end of September, we have been in the sea in both April and October. Outside these months Medulin is quiet with the family run restaurants staying open all year round , making it an ideal time for sightseeing, walking etc.
Medulin offers many sporting and sea -based activites :-sub-aqua diving, horseriding,tennis,sailing, windsurfing,fishing.mini-golf.
You can hire bicycles - the tandem is great fun-, scooters, boats and even charter a yacht.
Medulin has a great choice of restaurants and bars.
There is a bus service into Pula - main town in Istria where you can visit the famous roman amphitheatre and other sites. Pula has a superb outside market selling wonderful fruit and vegetables and a large inside fish market. Pula is a great place to just sit and have coffee and watch the world go by.

Ryanair flies from Stansted to Pula which is only 10kms from Medulin, costing around £10 to hire a local taxi to the apartment.
Ryanair also flies daily to Trieste - a 2/3 hour drive through beautiful scenery in Slovenia and Croatia.
Easyjet flies to Rijeka - a 2 hour drive down to the apartment.
