"Lovely accommodation, welcoming host."

We visited the apartment for a family break with our two young children (a toddler and a baby.)

The apartment was spotless and well equipped. As with many properties in Edinburgh the flat has beautiful period features. We also enjoyed the views from the rear of the property...every morning my toddler ran through to the kitchen to see the castle! The location is both pleasant and central and we enjoyed being so close yo the park with young children.

The bedrooms are very comfortable...pure cotton bedding adding comfort. Travel cot was well padded with blankets providing my toddler with a comfortable sleep too.

This is a top floor apartment so as you would expect that means lots of stairs...it was rather hard work whilst carrying little people but we wouldn't let that put us off staying here again as it was exactly what we were for and we will almost certainly stay here again.

Thank you to Peter for being a welcoming and helpful host. Welcome basket was a lovely surprise too.

All we would ask for to improve on our experience would be a couple of extra dishwasher tablets, bin bags and toilet roll...we ran out of all these items on day 2 and they aren't items people want to have to purchase on a short stay.

Overall a five star experience and we are looking forward to visiting again!

Thank you!

"Fantastic Authentic Apartment in a great location."

My friends and I recently visited Edinburgh for the first time. We booked this apartment as it read well in the description.
We had a fantastic time and this is perfect for location and facilities.
It's in Marchmont just 5 mins in a taxi from the centre of the city. Shops for food and drink close by, cafés for breakfast and taxi and buses go from down the road which was perfect.
Will definitely go back and rebook.
