About the home

Dar il-Hena is a property which is enclosed by high walls. this guarantees the tenants complete privacy. The property is also a good distance away from the nearest occupied property which means that you can enjoy loud music all night long without disturbing anyone.

The property itself is full of character and is accessible roughly 1 km distance from main road arteries in Rabat and Mgarr.

Accomodation includes a main house which has three double bedrooms of which two are en-suite, a Shower/Toilet/Washroom with washing machine, a large cinema room, a 30m2 kitchen breakfast living, which inlcludes microwave, and dishwasher, a lounge and dining room complete with grand piano. The main bedroom has a terrace which enjoys unbelievable views from which you can actually see most of the coastline.

There is also a guest annexe which has a large kitchen living and an ensuite bedroom.

Outdoors there is a large garder, large 100m2 pool, a courtyard with fountain and garden.

As part of the package we shall include a GPS with all the main attractions as well as the property location in order to ensure you do not get lost.

We are also offering the option of a villa plus car/s rental.

The Island of Malta region

Malta has been influenced by several cultures and each of these have left an indelible mark on the islands. Several buildings and ruins can still be found today and allow people to have a glimpse into the past.

However the country enjoys warm summer days and nights, and has some of the highest rated beaches in terms of water quality rated in the EU.

Great nightlife which can be tailored to suit different ages, from the youngest to the wildest and those seeking peace and tranquility.

The Mdina / Rabat, Malta area

Malta is approx 200sq Km. One can travel from one end to the other in under 1 hour. Gozo too is only 1 hour away including the ferry trip, so, technically everywhere is local and within easy reach.

The property is located in a rural setting and this means that it is absolutely great for hikes, bikes and adventuring. This property is surrounded by historical and archeological sites including several cart ruts, the Dwejra tower and dwejra lines, Mdina in the vicinity and also some punic burial sites.

Several facilities are available with a short drive including tennis, horse riding, a waterpark, golf, as well as other attractions. Most are within a 5-10 minute drive and all well within under 30minutes.

During the summer most weekends and occassionally during the week, you will have feasts. We provide our guests with a list of upcoming feasts. The property has a unique vantage point and it is not unusual to see two or three simultaneous fireworks displays in the distance.
